I love most buffets to be honest. With that said, I will point out what makes this one special. The cheese wontons are very sweet! More like a honey cheese wonton and less like a crab rangoon. The ranch chicken has an amazing batter and texture. The potato wedges are very seasoned just like curly fry seasoning. They've got sauteed shrimps with the heads and eyeballs and they are sauteed soft enough so you can eat through the heads just fine and they have a smooth peanut aroma to them. And the general tso's chicken is actually spicy! Oh and guess what? They also serve sesame chicken and it is in fact a different chicken from the general tso's! That's right! Unlike other buffets that feature both styles of chicken but they are identical LOL. They have traditional fried rice but also a really nice brown rice with mushrooms. Also they have stuffed clams that have such a unique blend of meats and seasoning and bread crumb and color... my Puerto Rican mom said these are Puerto Rican seasoned... Not sure what she means but I also was reminded of Indian food with the brown rice and mushrooms. Another fun thing, is during lunch time, I'm pretty sure they put out DiGiorno Pizza? I will eat many slices of that pizza. However, during dinnertime, the pizza changes, and seems to be more sweet like ellios pizza. It is definitely a different brand from the supreme salty stuff featured during the lunch week. Its perfect for me because I kind of want a little bit of DiGiorno with everything I eat. Also during lunchtime only... they have the white angel hair pasta which I love. It is smooth and buttery with some egg and chives. And another lunchtime only dish is beef and scallions which I adore! So show up for lunch if you want the fine Noodle and the really soft tender beef and the DiGiorno supreme pizza. Moving on, I love the cold fully cooked mussels at the salad bar, they are in a tany red sauce. The coconut chicken is really good, not very strong coconut but definitely sweet, and scratches the itch. At the same bar they have some bright yellow chicken that they call teriyaki Chicken which confuses me because teriyaki is not bright yellow but it's also not Curry spiced but it is delicious regardless. And again where the salmon is they call it teriyaki salmon but now it's strawberry syrup pink, don't know why. The salmon is delicious, but whatever radioactive color is on top is not teriyaki and it doesn't destroy the salmon it seems like it's just there for looks. Also there's a lot of different types of sushi that set this buffet apart from other buffets. There is eel! and also shrimp tempura and everything else you could want both raw and California cooked stuff, the different colors of tobiko, etc. and if you're going to get dessert, try to look for the Hershey brand cups of ice cream. A lot of times they are buried under another brand. It is the Hershey brand vanilla that is Snow White in color. The other brand that I can't remember the name of, that I like to avoid is yellow vanilla, which I hate so just heads up if you hate the yellow vanilla then get the Hershey's- it's white. All the cakes pretty much taste the same except the red one. Get the red velvet squares and then go back to the hot side and get some sugar fried doughs. The things I don't like include the Mongolian wok because it's not actually a wok and you don't get to choose your sauces. He handles teriyaki sauce and oil only... And we have already asserted that they accept the word "teriyaki" as a very loose and ambiguous way of describing things so I asked if there is any hot oil available or Mongolian sauce, which is why I would go to a wok to begin, but there's not. No garlic oil either. like I said he just uses whatever they think teriyaki sauce is and some other oil that is not spicy and you have no control when he cooks it. Nothing like the Mid-Hudson buffet where you have a bunch of different sauces and oils to choose from and you add them in desired ratios. Oh yeah and his cooking table isn't up to temperature like a wok so the cooking's...

last night, I brought my daughter to celebrate for her birthday. The food was luke warm to cold because they keep the steam tables set too low. and some of it didn’t taste right. Then my daughter found a Cooked cockroach 🪳 In her food!

I went over and Asked to speak to the manager, so the woman at the register Was the one who talk to me I showed her the cockroach which I brought over to her in a napkin She snatched it out of my hand! And was about to crumple it up and put it in the garbage But I sat there and argued with her and demanded her to give me my napkin back But she said she needed to show it to the kitchen staff then she threw it out. She came with me to my table for me to show her what my daughter found the cockroach in. Then she Proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t a cockroach With some guy from the kitchen angrily saying something in Chinese behind me and we had the server with an angry snotty look on her face sitting there looking at me and Angrily speaking with the woman who claimed to be the manager in Chinese so we couldn’t understand what they were Saying.

Then she unbelievably asked if my daughter still wanted to eat so I she told her no, so she said there would be no charge for my daughters food then she asked me if I was going to eat more food and I told her , are you kidding me??? OF COURSE NOT!!! Why would I want to eat food that had cockroaches in it? unbelievable, I was sick to my stomach from what I ate not sure if it was because of what my daughter found in her food or because the food wasn’t good, although I was maybe a little bit nauseous before she showed me it, but totally felt like throwing up after. My poor daughter wound up sick after only having a few bites of some chicken that didn’t taste right. 🤢 Then she told us we had to leave, as if we wanted to stay 😂 This place used to be so good before Covid But since the quality and the service has sadly gone downhill I am not quite sure how they managed to keep a rating above four stars, or how they manage to stay open for that matter I looked at some of the other reviews, And I guess we’re not the only ones that found a cockroach 🪳 in their food!!! I’m amazed that the health department hasn’t shut them down. I obviously won’t be giving them any of my business anymore

I posted a picture below of what my daughter found in her food as you can see it’s a mangled cooked cockroach. I guess it was a good thing. We snapped pictures of it before the woman had a chance to snatch it out of my hand and toss it because I do intend on calling the health department! The only good thing I can say about my experience was that they let me leave without trying...

I had dinner on a Saturday sometime after 5:30 with my husband. It was packed & kids running all around the buffet. The buffets I’ve been to don’t allow kids to be up there but this one did & I can assure you I understand why they don’t allow them up there. The running around , pushing they way through people & grabbing food with their hands. Made my experience a 0⭐️. I couldn’t understand all the weird pcs that I saw where lobster was said to be that’s why I choose to eat here & couldn’t have 1 to enjoy & slow to refill the lobster & in my opinion why? When that’s what most people are there for. Sushi was mushy & the kimchi was bad like the smell was horrific & the first bit was so bad that I literally spit it out immediately. The carts of food to restock the food would sit in the way of where you make your plates well kids are running around there is already enough people in there and then you have all this going on.

One last thing that disturbed me was when they would fill up the buffet they would say excuse multiple times till you move out they way in such a rush and frantic way that it took me by surprise that I bumped into the person next to me with there food on there plate. I won’t return. Sodas in the bottle are 3$ and the way they look at the amount of food or whats on your plate makes no sense to me. We pay 20$ a person for diner let people eat in peace. Y’all really should be walking around the buffet more and checking temperatures & asking kids to stop running around & so many times I was eating something cold that should have been hot.

Y’all parents should honestly watch your kids or make they plates like why have someone tell you to control your kids do...

Like most general Chinese buffet places, but with better service. Our waitresses were attentive and helpful. The food however was not the best. This buffet could have gotten a better rating if they didn't serve bad crabs. I'm not talking about flavoring, I'm talking about SPOILED seafood. Never have I ever knew what spoiled crab tasted like until I ate here. Once I put the meat in my mouth I was punched in the face with ammonia. It was so bad I was gagging. Please smell the crab before you eat it. You know it is bad when the inside of the crab gives off a weird smoky smell. Almost like fume. And if the shells have patches of brown spots, it's also an indication it went bad. Other than the ammonia crabs, the rest of the stone crabs were alright. Shrimp, mussel, and squid did not taste fresh. Didn't bother with the lobster because there were only shells left. Salmon tasted like rubber. The only other seafood I'd get besides the stone crab would be the sea bass? It's the fish in the yellow sauce with paprika powder on top. The fried food section wasn't very good either. Most of the food were not crispy. Only the fried shrimp was decent. Terrible sushi. If you would even call it that. Barely any fillings and just mainly rice. Seaweed salad tasted weirdly sweet, as if sugar was mixed into it. Dessert was the better part of the experience. There were a variety of ice cream to choose from. I like the vanilla ice cream and the ice cream sandwich. Fruits were not very fresh. Lychee jello tasted artificial. All in all, can't expect much from this buffet. Everything was so oily; made me feel disgusted with myself after eating 2 plates. Only paid $21 so can't complain about the price.
