Wow... what can I say. My visit to Gali's Couture Wigs was the most amazing experience. I am going thru a difficult time just being diagnosed with breast cancer and I knew that I was going to need a wig. Charlene, the owner, was an absolute doll. So incredibly sweet, friendly and uplifting. My daughter had called for an appointment for me and they said that they were booked for the next day but when Charlene heard I was coming in due to health issues she immediately said.. come on over and we will fit you in. They have an incredible selection of real hair wigs at very reasonable prices. If you have insurance that will cover some of the cost of the wig they will help you navigate that. I told Charlene that I wanted my wig to look exactly like my own hair and within 5 minutes she had picked a few out for me to try on and within another 5 minutes I found exactly what I was looking for. Even better than the wigs was the abundant kindness that Charlene showed me. It's been a rough couple of weeks and this was a bright spot in my journey to get well. To support Israel a couple of months ago, she posted the wig of the week to purchase at a discount of which the funds would be given directly to support an Israeli organization. One of the first ones was supporting Efrat. This organization spoke to my heart especially since I am a doula and this organization helped women keep their new born after giving birth. The wig I received was of such superb quality. So when she offered a special of half off this past month, I knew I had to get another one. The distance and time to get there and back in one day (from Boston!) wasn't even a deterrent since I knew who I was purchasing from and how their chesed supports so many worthy causes! Gali’s Couture Wigs are absolutely amazing. Not only are the wigs the best quality I’ve seen, but the staff and other clientele there were all very warm, helpful and friendly. I was there as a 25 year old who was getting a wig before losing all her hair to chemo. After getting my wig, I lost my hair about two weeks later, and I was so thankful to have my real hair wig. No one had any idea it was a wig because the hair looked so real, and it went everywhere with me. It has kept up in every climate still looks brand new. Once I was hospitalized for some complications and took my wig off while I was an inpatient. When I left with the wig on, my nurses didn’t even recognize me 😂.
