Great park let down by the fact that our tax dollars go towards paying two people to monitor the tennis courts. Courts for which you have to pay 12 dollars per person on which to play. It's not that it's unaffordable, it's the principal of the matter. We already have park cards for residents, why the need for a fee? For the amount of money Great Neck residents pay in taxes, a fee for using the courts should be nominal. It's frustrating that using my local tennis court with family or friends is made so complicated and unpleasant because of greed and what feels like a purposefully exclusionary policy.

The picnic tables are spread out throughout the park so it's nice that you can get some privacy for conversations although I imagine in the warmer months that space fills up quickly.
