I love Rene Ruiz in Manhasset, NY! I first came here in January 2024 looking for a mother of the groom’s dress. I wasn’t having any luck finding one in bridal stores. I was scrolling online and found that I really liked Rene Ruiz dresses. So, I googled where I could find them, took the nearly 2 hour drive there from Orange County, NY and I wasn’t disappointed. The customer service and dress choice was top notch! Daniel greeted us at the door and we had the store to ourselves. My daughter snuggled up with Shelby (Daniel’s gentle and loving dog) as Daniel found dresses perfect for my body type and that would complement my skin coloring. I walked out with my dress ordered and was thrilled with my choice. The tailoring was perfect and I had so many complements at the October 3024 wedding - pictures are below. Guess what? I just returned to the store in March 2025 to search for my mother of the bride dress. Once again, I had so many choices and Daniel and my daughter helped me narrow it down. Oh where to begin. First, I have never felt so comfortable in a dress shop, and I have been in many. Daniel and Kimberly are an extraordinary team with impeccable taste and a warmth that made the experience of buying a dress as the mother of the bride simple amazing. I felt like a queen and given that I am not a size 6 that is not usually how I feel. The store does have dresses in every size from "0" and up, but the line is so well put together that the dresses can make any woman any size look like a million bucks. I wore silver, which I never thought I could pull off but Daniel said try it, and I am so glad I did. I really felt it was not about making a sale, it was about finding a gown that looked great and that was apparently made just for me. The gown was perfect and I just love it. I would highly recommend this boutique, that feels like shopping with old friends, to anyone. It is a shame there are not ten stars on this site, as I would give it to them. After searching and searching on Long Island and Manhattan, I finally walked into Rene Ruiz, Manhasset where I successfully ended my search for the mother of the bride gown, which was everything I dreamed of for me!! The atmosphere of the shop is amazingly beautiful. The inventory is tremendous. The fabrics and designs are everything you could ask for and more. And, most importantly, the hospitality and services are impeccable and professional. Daniel greeted me on time with my appointment and proceeded to focus on my requests as he gave me choices and suggestions. When I chose my gown, Daniel helped to create enhancements to satisfy my needs. It was a dream come true in the end. I cannot emphasize enough the extent of flexibility, and the willingness to go above and beyond I received in order to meet my expectations.
