IHOP — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

Doesn't participate in corporate promos as advertised if it means any discounts. The "ihoppy hour" is supposed to offer items starting at $6, or $7/8 for same items in some markets, on up. They dont even offer the specials starting at $8.

Same burger they are supposed to offer for $6-8 they are charging $16.99 for. I have had their burgers in the past, was nothing special, especially for the same price as a diner quality one. They are trying to advertise and incentivize to get people in for non breakfast food- apps, burgers, fried foods- yet charging more than their competition- fridays applebys or diners regularly charge at regular price without any discount.

When I get an email advertising a burger for $6 only to find they want $17 at this location, I get that it's up to each location to decide how greedy they want to be in honoring what they choose, but they are missing out on traffic by falsely advertising to attempt to get people in the door and bait and switch considering once they get you in the door you likely wont leave and will just pay 3x the cost for what offer they advertised to get you in...

Hello..Ive been coming to this establishment for quite some time, and we are always greeted so nicely by this wonderful staff..The cooks Hector, Abel and the young man with them are truly amazing..Food is always delicious, fast and always nice and hot..Tina, Ive known for quite some time from here and she is a gem. Leni always takes care of us, very sweet, friendly and very professional. Lisa is so very pleasant, always keeping the place nice and clean, and Carolina is very sweet, big smile and very attentive..Always great service..All the girls working at this restaurant are hardworking women, all very nice and all with great big smiles..I wrote a letter to the owner some time back about service and food but the letter was never ackowledged nor was the staff..It is very important to give this great team , support, encouragement and praise..Because it truly is a wonderful group of hard working men and women..The place is clean , the food is great...and this team holds down the fort...Great job..so very glad to have...

Update (March 2021): Takes safety very seriously, whether it's in regards to customer volume and glass dividing booths. Had the tres leche pancakes (don't ask how many calories it was) and it was delicious!

Original Review: My sister got the stuffed French toast. The first was burnt. Visibly. Under that frosting was black. The second one? Stale! My sister said it was like biting into old bread! I had the birthday cake pancakes (as a belated birthday treat) and the frosting was melted so much it was barely a glaze that had been absorbed by the pancake. There was also nothing between each flapjack? I kind of expected something--at least butter? But I guess I just won't simply get it again if my family wants to come here. We also went in the late afternoon, so barely anyone was there. So I don't think time was an issue either. I know you guys focus on some things more than others, but it really shows... And it's not good. And at least it was cleaner than usual... Sorry but eating here this time was a bit of...
