Rockland County Invitations — Local services in Town of Orangetown

Like most DIY brides I was planning to doing the invitations myself. I was on lots of invitation/printing websites and found a few invitations that I liked but I was not 100% certain about any of them. For the record, I did the Save-the-Dates myself and they were a huge hit, everyone thought they were so cute, clever, and unique, so how could I follow that up with less than spectacular invites.

I decided I no longer wanted to do the invites myself and wanted to possibly find somewhere local to have a face-to-face with an actual person and be able to see the invites in person. I did a quick search for my area and Rockland County Invites popped up. There was a name of a more well known "chain" stationery/invitation store but I had already been there and was not impressed with their quality/variation of products. I actually went to Rockland County Invitations as a "walk-in" not realizing it was a home-based business (which I have no problem with) but felt bad because I (along with my bestie/bridesmaid) just popped up on Sandy. She was with client but gracious enough to let my friend and me wait until she finished up, she gave us several books to look through while we waited.

When she was ready for us she took great care in trying to figure out what I was looking for and was able to find books with invites that were more my style. We finally settled on one invitation that fit my (later dubbed) Rustic Chic wedding theme and everyone absolutely loved them! I did find the same invites on a website and worried that I might have been paying more by using Sandy but that was not the case at all. If there was any difference in price, it wasn't by much plus having personal service like Sandy provided was clutch for a slightly overwhelmed bride.

A friend of one recommended that I contact Sandy about my wedding invitations. She had a great experience and assured me that I would as well. Sandy is very kind and accommodating. Upon meeting with her she wanted to get an idea of what we were looking for and gave us time to look through her numerous books to get ideas. She has some great suggestions and although it took us a while to find the perfect invitation, we found the perfect "save the date" right away. She was great about contacting me about the proofs and making and changes that we needed. When we found the perfect invitation she had great suggestions as to how we could personalize it just for us. She was also great about helping us choose and create response cards, direction cards, and other parts of the invitation. She sent me several proofs and was more than happy to make all of my changes. She also did everything that she could so that we could stay within our budget, but still have the perfect invitation. Sandy did everything for my daughter's two wedding receptions...the first was her small wedding ceremony with small reception and then the big post ceremony party a month later. She worked very closely with my daughter. We had gift bags printed, card menu's printed and weekend timeline printed. For the big party, we had invitations printed, envelopes printed, and place cards printed. She was an absolute delight to work with, and took the worry out of all of this. She has many, many books to choose from, will make suggestions because she knows what's in all the books, will email you every draft for your final approval, did an excellent job with font size and font for the envelopes and the same for the place cards.
