A Hidden Gem with Exceptional Service and Irresistible Steaks!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at a true hidden gem in town - a steakhouse that checks all the boxes of a memorable dining experience. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that set the tone for the evening.
One of the standout features of this steakhouse is its exceptional service. Unlike other places, the staff here doesn't rush you out the door as closing time approaches. On the contrary, the friendly and attentive staff welcomed us to stay longer, ensuring that we felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our meal. This level of service truly added to the overall experience, making us feel like valued guests and not just customers.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the steak. I have to admit, I've tried numerous steakhouses in the past, including the renowned Peter Lugers, but this hidden gem managed to surpass them all. The quality and flavor of the steak were simply exceptional. Each bite was tender, succulent, and bursting with mouthwatering juices. It was evident that the chefs here spared no effort in ensuring that every piece of meat was cooked to perfection. After this experience, I can confidently say that this steakhouse offers the best steaks in town.
Another standout aspect of this establishment is the generous portion sizes. Presentation is one thing, but when you get a plate stacked high with a perfectly cooked steak, it's truly a sight to behold. The portions here are substantial, leaving you feeling satisfied and well-fed. This is definitely the place for steak lovers who appreciate a hearty and fulfilling meal.
Despite its undeniable culinary excellence, the ambiance of this steakhouse is another major plus. It strikes a perfect balance between being clean, elegant, and welcoming. The atmosphere is upscale without being overly stuffy, creating an inviting dining experience for all. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a delicious meal, this steakhouse will make you feel right at home.
Overall, my experience at this hidden gem of a steakhouse was nothing short of fantastic. From the attentive service that encouraged us to stay longer, to the mouthwatering steaks that outshined even the most renowned names in the industry, this place truly exceeded all expectations. Cleanliness, generous portions, and an inviting ambiance only add to its charm. For steak lovers seeking an unforgettable dining experience, this establishment is an...
Read moreI went here with my family for my birthday and couldn’t be more disappointed with the whole experience. I had tried ordering a drink (a Negroni subbing out the gin for mezcal) the server seemed thrown off by my request and had to ask another server what I meant. Then when he came back had told me they don’t carry mezcal. I said don’t worry about it and skipped ordering the drink. Instead I decided to walk to the bar to see the liquor options, because when I had asked what options they had the server couldn’t fully explain them. When I arrived at the bar, there was no bartender behind the bar. After waiting 5 minutes for a bartender to return I just simply gave up and returned to my seat. I had ordered the rack of lamb (requested medium rare), and 2 other people in my party ordered the tuna (both seared rare). When the plates arrived the tuna was visibly over cooked (closer to medium well) and my rack of lamb was completely well done. No one checked how our dishes came out for over 15 minutes. The rest of my party had close to finished their entrees, including the two tuna dishes because they were tired of waiting for the server to show up. When the server finally arrived I sent my lamb back and was asked if I would like something else. I may have taken him up on that offer if the rest of my table weren’t almost done with their meals. So I, as the one celebrating my birthday, didn’t get to enjoy an entree, and had to fill up on our family style sides (mushroom caps, creamed spinach and sautéed broccoli.) Moving on to the dessert course, I chose the creme brûlée while the rest of the table split 2 orders of chocolate mousse. The dessert was good, however it unfortunately doesn’t make up for the rest of the shortcomings in the dinner. Not at any point did management stop by to check on us, even though it was made aware that this was a special occasion. For this price point you expect a certain level of quality in food and care of service/hospitality and unfortunately we felt they failed on all accounts. I will...
Read moreThis restaurant was okay. The food was good, but for the price I expected delicious. I did notice that when they bring the food out, it comes out family-style, in one shareable dish per food item ordered. Once each shareable dish is delivered to the table, the server automatically start to place spoonfuls of each food item onto each party's plate. I have never seen this before and everyone else in the restaurant seemed to really enjoy having the server spoon out portions of whatever the table ordered onto each person's plate like how parents do for young children.
My friend and I requested that they do not serve us in this manner and the server was kind about it and didn't hover or be weird about it. I am very particular about my food if given the option. For example, I prefer to choose how much of each food item I personally desire to eat and am not sure how another person could possibly know where on the plate I want specific items and how much of each item. I also have a preference about certain foods not touching before I have had a chance to taste them.
I am very particular about how my food is handled, especially when it is served family style. My personal preference is to not be served like a child from a stranger. But I believe this type of service contributes to the higher pricing of the food.
The ambiance is really nice and high end. It's a place that you want to get dressed up for. The place is lit beautifully at night and the dim lighting inside is very comfortable for friends, but I can also see it being romantic for couples.
They also seat parties in a manner that is spaced out within the restaurant, allowing for literal breathing room and social distancing.
The food is satisfactory, but not on the level of delicious (which can be a bit disappointing because the ambiance and pricing gives the impression of food that is cooked to...
