IVE JUST REPORTED THIS LOW PERFORMING STORE TO THEIR NATIONAL CORPORATE HQ. And asked them to read all my reviews here. They said they would immediately act. No more wasting my time.
Updated 9/2 - again this pharmacy completely wastes my time. Six months ago I moved my prescriptions to this Walgreens from Tappan Walgreens due to its proximity. Now I am told that my prescriptions were never moved. And for the sixth time none of my prescriptions are ready that I take daily. How can a pharmacy operate like this? Itās a continuous joke. I called yesterday and the pharmacist said that my doctor had not refilled any of my daily prescriptions in fact, he told me that my doctor had stopped filling them all together. I said that thatās impossible. Iāve been on these medications for years and thereās no way that my doctor would stop them cold to which the pharmacist argued with me and told me they had been. I then pulled up my prescriptions after the phone call and all of them were still at the tappan in Walgreens ready to be filled - despite six months of asking them to not only transfer the prescriptions, but have them automatically filled each month. This is a disgusting and ludicrous waste of my time and Iām POSITIVE other consumers time and I will continue to warn other consumers. Or maybe at least one time they get it right for once. I will update this again tomorrow. Do you self a favor and donāt go here.
Updated 7/18. - was just hung up on. Told person they only gave me half of a prescription. They told me that was all that was ready. I said why on earth didnāt you tell me that at the time. Thatās when she hung up. Iāll be picking this up very shortly and I hope itās ready. And will keep updating how this pharmacy will waste a lot of your time.
Updated 6/25. Was told by Melinda yesterday that I would have all four prescriptions ready this morn. I told her I would then review that progress was made. No progress was made in fact another prescription missing, after being assured they were ready was not and as I now sit here with three cars behind me in the drive thru, another delay fir them to follow it. And delays for all. I guess they think they can tell you itās ready and use your time with impunity.

I am now at Nyack Walgreens. After them telling me yesterday All of my prescriptions were ready. One of them isnāt. This is a for ever ending process of complete incompetence. To now have to come back and drive 40 mins r/t and parking. Unacceptable. Will keep updating.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreCalled in to refill a few medications for my grandmother who is away on vacation. I spoke to Mr. Philip (Pharmacy Manager) who was absolutely rude and unprofessional. Clearly, Mr. Philip was in a rush at the time and quickly confirmed that medications were ready for pick up. I then proceeded to inquire about a specific type of medication she was running low on and wanted to know when it was due to be filled. He told me on the 15th, today is the 6th. I asked him if it was possible to refill early so that I can send them to her all at once. His response in a very sarcastic tone "IT'S GOING TO COST YOU $1 THOUSAND SOMETHING DOLLARS....IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!.... at this point I was in shock. I told him that he didn't have to be so rude and that he could have conveyed that to me in a more appropriate way just by saying that if it was filled now it will not be covered by insurance. He tried to change his explanation and said that he did mention it wasn't covered by insurance and he stated the cost. Now Mr. Philip is not only rude but a liar. I asked for his manager and that is when he identified himself as the pharmacy manager, I then asked for his superior which he said was the store manager Mr. John. At this point Mr. Philip attempted to apologize in his own way by saying "I'm sorry YOU DIDN'T UNDERSTAND" to me. At this point, I've really reached my limit with Mr. Philip. Thank goodness I spoke to Mr. John the store manager who has assured me that he will discuss this matter with Mr. Philip.
I usually do not write any reviews but I felt it was my duty to do so at this point. I am educated, English is my first language and I have no auditory, memory, or mental impairments. I completely understood and recall exactly what was said and in no way did he mention it will not be covered by insurance until after the fact. Our community is diverse and consists of members/customers whom English is their second language or have the following impairments mentioned earlier. Just imagine what they have to endure on a daily basis and feel helpless to defend themselves. The matter of fact is that Mr. Philip should be courteous to all and should really take a few classes on manners. They recently installed the interactive fridges at this location and although the idea is kinda cool, the staff doesnāt update whatās in the fridge with whatās on the screen therefore making it a hassle, disappointing, frustrating and eliminating any type of energy saving the manufacturer claims because youāre just opening every door to find what youāre looking for.
Iām not sure of the exact process for restocking them, but Iām sure itās somewhat of a hassle that creates unnecessary extra steps for the employees. Seems like corporate was enticed by fluff from a salesman and as per usual, corporate just made a decision and implemented it on employees without first hand knowledge of what is actually involved with using them on a daily basis.
I was also unaware until watching a promo video about these type of fridges that the cameras mounted on them that triggers when a person is near are also used to target ads based on your appearance and thatās kinda creepy. Iām now curious to try that feature out to see what ads are targeting myself. Pretty sure this idea was in the movie āMinority...
