This outfit is just . . . the best! Mark Riback, our designer/sales-consultant, was knowledgeable, and patient. He was an integral part of the process from the first sit down to the day of installation. He designed an office that fit our needs, and our budget. I am VERY fussy, and into the small details, and Mark recognized that, and made certain all of my [special] requests were incorporated into the final design.

The [final measure] guy, and the installation crew, we extremely competent. They worked, neat, clean and fast – and also attended to all of my [site specific] special-requests.

I come from a design and furniture background, and I was VERY impressed by the quality and attention to detail of the finished product. They have manufacturing standards – that actually SURPASSED my own [very high] standards! That was a very pleasant surprise.

They were about 10% lower in cost than California closet, but I did NOT give them the job because of their price. I gave it to them because I perceived, from our initial meetings with Mark Riback, that they truly place customer satisfaction – above all else! As an example, the day following our installation, Lauren [in customer service @ their showroom office] called me to ask if I was happy with the installation, and the finished product. And, I could tell – that she/they were sincerely interested in my opinions, and level of customer satisfaction. I though that was a VERY classy [thing] for them to do, post sale!

I have had custom built-ins made before, by a local “Formica shop” - but NEVER with this high quality an outcome, nor . . . this level of attention to the small details. I would definitely recommend Closet Factory to my family and friends, and . . . to you, for your project.

UPDATE: June 13th, 2019 I strongly believe that the [true] mark of an "outstand" product/service provider is how they treat the customer - post sale, AFTER they have your money. With that in mind, I contacted The Closet Factory, Long Island, with a service request, about 9 months post installation. I am VERY HAPPY to report, they responded to my request PROMPTLY, and made the necessary repair with their [usual] degree of professionalism and [expertise! As we worked with Steve, we realized that he has a great deal of experience and deep knowledge of spaces, materials/options and product. He was so quick to understand and relate to our concepts and offer options. He was always patient working through the designs and did not hesitate to let us know when we were trying to design something that would not come out well. We went through many iterations of the design and Steve would quickly incorporate the changes and share those with us, sometimes even in Realtime over Zoom.

We were looking for someone who would be able to take our ideas and concepts and build them out! We looked at many companies and also some carpenters and finally decided to go with the Closet Factory, and we are so happy that we did. We had multiple spaces, a Built-in wall closet, an Office with two standing desks, a Coat closet and radiator covers (removable) with storage etc. Since the design of our spaces, especially the Office had some unique design requirements Steve went the extra mile to came personally (during COVID 19) for the remeasure to make sure that everyone on the team understood the design. Debbie and her team at the Closet Factory were always communicating regarding the installation process and dates. We had to switch install dates and they always worked it out. We also had the opportunity to visit the production facility to pick up one of the pieces we needed before the install and the gentleman there (I think Russ) was so helpful.

Both the installers Rocky and Michael were professional, knowledgeable, always on time and friendly. During the installation they made adjustments, came prepared for everything and cleaned up after themselves. They cut and replaced the baseboard so exact that it looks like it was a part of the cabinetry they had just installed. Even when the walls were not straight, they figured out how to hide them! The whole experience, from the very first call to the finished installation, has been so wonderful! We have had some visitors and every single one of them has asked us who made these great looking pieces. The finished product speaks for itself. We are so happy that these spaces have been done so stylishly.

My experience with Closet Factory was amazing from start to finish. My wife and I were looking for a custom closet solution for our basement to hold baby items that our son has outgrown. Kelly Piccininni was our designer. Kelly was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. She came to our home and mapped out a custom design that worked perfectly for our needs. She also showed us physical color swatches. After the in-home consultation, she followed up with me via e-mail. The initial prices she quoted us were out of our budget. Kelly contacted me again a week later about a 25% off promotion going on through the end of October. The discount made the closet system more attainable so my wife and I decided to go for it. We are so happy we did! A week after submitting our deposit, Keenan and Mohammed stopped by to take final measurements. They were very professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. Kelly said our installation date would be 6-8 weeks out. As luck would have it, a spot opened up on the schedule a week after the measurements were taken! Daryl and Diego did the installation. They were very thorough and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. For example, there were audio wires sticking out of the wall where the back of the closet was going. Daryl figured out a way to hide the wires under the closet without cutting them. Also, there was an electrical outlet on the back wall that I wanted access to. I gave Daryl a power strip with a surge protector. He was able to install a grommet and run the power strip through it so we had access. Daryl and Diego took the time to make sure all of the locks for the doors and drawers were lined up evenly and worked properly. They also asked how high we wanted to stationary shelves installed. Daryl and Diego were able to complete the job in one day and cleaned up their work area before they left. The next day, I received a call from the office asking how everything went.
