Hilton Apple Fest — Local services in Town of Parma

We have not been to apple festival probably in 13 years and went this year. To tell the truth it was a little disappointing. We were looking forward to fresh apple dumplings, apple crisp, anything freshly made like years ago. We were told they do not do that anymore because it was attracting a lot of bees, people were getting stung, people were suing. I get it! But it should be renamed "Hilton fall festival" because it has nothing to do with apples! It is very misleading! Other than apple sausage or ice cream. Tops and Zarpentine Farms offering Pre-packaged pies, and other desserts not appealing at all! Too many vendors soliciting their services? It was nice to have the shuttle! Mostly ♿️ accessible, with WARNING that Pushing a (non-motorized) wheel chair on the bumpy grass is very difficult. Most Vendor tents & the huge (600+) car show are 85-90% on grass Event draws a VERY large crowd, too. The Main Stage entertainment & many food vendors are in a paved area. ♿️ accessible porta johns, on site.**

Shuttles from a few different parking areas around town are available. Idk about ♿️ accessible shuttles, I heard there is 1, but idk for sure. Lots of creativity here, apple treats, kids' fun things to do, musicians throughout & an awesome, HUGE car show on Saturday. Over 600 this year! Some of the people there were pushy. The vendors were very nice and there was a great variety of things to buy and food to eat! You had your choice from potato pancakes with sour cream and applesauce to steak sandwiches, Polish sausage with sauerkraut, kettle corn Pizza and a vast array of other items! They also had zweigle's hot dogs!! We were looking for granulated maple sugar and hit the jackpot. Thank you Merle Maple LLC your stuff is very good. The over all prices were in line for a festival.
