Hoffman's Barn — Local services in Town of Red Hook

Great place especially if one is visiting from the city or Long Island where you'd pay three to four times as much for the item you pick up at Hoffman's Barn. Visit twice a year and will keep on visiting. Recent purchase: Two rusty Pick Ax heads, an old intricately designed wrought iron railing panel 12 x 24, one old perfectly chipped and distressed antique wooden shutter, and one old 12 inch by 8 inch tin perfectly weathered and with some old signage on it - 50 bucks. I bought a vintage sewing machine that I'd been eyeing for several weeks. It had numerous accessories with it. When I finally bought it the store personnel put it all together in the case after he sent me away. The next day when I opened it several valuable parts were missing.
