Nice As New — Local services in Town of Rib Mountain

Today is July 10th 2021. My daughter went in today to the Nice As New in Rib MTN area & shopped spending close to $30.00. She was checked out by a further along pregnant young lady, with blonde short hair. Might I say HOW RUDE!!! No customer service skills at all! Checked my daughter out, not a word spoken except to give the amount owed for her purchase. Then she turned and swiftly walked away not even handing the bag of items to which my kid had just purchased. So another employee who had been standing by watchimg, walked over and kindly handed the bag to my kid. My daughter being the young lady she is simply said to the employee that handed her her bag, to relay the message of, "nice customer service" to the pregnant young woman who had walked away from her.. Being sarcastic. About am hour later my daughter returned to the store to return an item, this time a male employee helped her. He was nice. The pregnant clerk was also present. Staring at my daughter. After completing the transaction, and thanking the the young man.. the pregnant female then glared at my daughter but was speaking to the man and said rather loudly, "Smile, nice customer service". Again, turning her back & walking away. I get women can be hormonal during pregnancy, but this interaction seemed to be more personal. As if the female possibly knew my 21yr old daughter. But my kid had no clue who she was. Point in this review, is maybe a manager or someone should have a word with this particular employee on how to treat their customers.. Especially a customer who frequents this store often and has spent a lot of her hard earned money there. Not what my kid expected and for what reason. Will be contacting the store!! Did I mention my kid is Hispanic..I left that out intentionally. The pregnant girl was Caucasian. Perhaps she just doesn't like Hispanic people. Or at least that's the vibe we got. If that is the case, she should find another job.. Not one where customer service and customer satisfaction is key to keep...

I have only gone to the Wausau, Rib Mntn store a few times. They were the worst experiences of my life! I walked in, went to the front counter and they sent me to the back to the drop off tables. I am on crutches due to a terrible car accident and I HURT ! When I got back there, there was a girl standing right in front of me, behind the counter. She turned around and went to the table behind her. She started folding clothes or putting them on hangers while I stood right in front of her. I even said “excuse me” finally and she said I will be there in a minute. She proceeded to put clothes on hangers while i stood in pain. She finally made her way up to the counter where in had been standing for what felt like a lifetime to me. I was in so much pain by the time I left I went home and collapsed! That was so unprofessional and mean. I even stopped another store clerk who worked there and asked her for help and this girl said “she has this” she proceeded to ignore me. It was not busy until she decided to help me. Then the line was getting quite long. I have a very hard time going back there. My husband won’t go with me because of the first time we went there and got such a hard time with the baby stuff...

I was here yesterday, 7/10/23, and I saw an outfit matched together with 2 different prices. The shirt was $2.50 and the pants with were also $2.50. $5 for a visibly used outfit I can get at Walmart for the same price. My husband also saw a tank top he bought at Walmart for $6 priced for the same price. There was also an outfit, original price was $15 and they had it prices at $15.50! When it came time for us to check out, the girl who was doing it. Her name was Cassidy, was incredibly rude to my 2 year old. We pulled the tag off her stroller she had her baby. That we BROUGHT into the store with us! She goes "I didn't see it" why would I give you a random tag. Then my 2 year old was trying to talk to her about her baby & she goes "yep!" While my daughter was playing, testing toys, and a lady kept looking at her as if she was destroying the place! In all honesty I will never shop here again and if I HAVE to, I will not be okay with people being ugly towards my 2 year old. Yall need better training and more...
