The three lamb skewers were generous. The lamb meat was tender and complemented perfectly with the tzatziki sauce. The plentiful side salad had a light Greek lemon dressing that balanced the meat well. What can I say about the baklava? The pastry was light and flaky with just the right amount of sweetness in the honey and nut filling!

On the four skewers, the chef skillfully paired/lined the various vegetables in a way to maximize enhanced flavors. Each bite provided a new taste. My fires were seasoned-free and perfectly prepared. The pita bread was just right thick and flavorful. The baklava was THE BEST EVER! Not American sweet. Perfectly flake-layered.

We are always looking for new places to try since moving to the area 6 years ago. Mykenos has been on my list for some time. I checked out the online menu and assured my wife that they also had some non-Mediterranean food options. When it was her idea to go I jumped at the chance.

I wanted a variety, so I got the mixed grill with 1 beef and 1 lamb kabob as well as the traditional gyro with tzatziki sauce. It also came with fries and a Greek salad, so it is a very good sized combo. (I had leftovers for lunch). My wife chose the Philly cheese steak. Everything was delicious! Counter service and food delivered right to your table all perfectly executed. My wife declared it the best cheese steak she has had and thoroughly enjoyed some of my fries too. She is already itching to go back after only a few days. This will definitely be a regular in our rotation...
