Box Pickleball is a wonderful addition to the area! They have a beautiful space with pickleball courts, bocce ball, corn hole, and a large bar and restaurant. Scott Green was super helpful in working with me to organize space and private lessons for a group of kids and parents last Friday. Shane was the instructor for the kids and kept them engaged for the whole hour. The bar/restaurant area is great for groups and families. We all hung out for a while after our lessons enjoying the smash burgers and drinks. My whole group had a fabulous time and we can’t wait to come back!

Lighting is absolutely aweful. Ceilings are low. I never see this place full of people. The restaurant has already turned over. I'm sorry to say that with the rumors out there about how high their rent is I do not see them making it. They have already fired most of their staff and ownership has taken over the management. With other Pickleball facilities popping up every where, it will be difficult for this place to survive unless they can renegotiate their rent. Great idea for the area but I do not see the path to success. UPDATE Just tried Box out again and I'm sorry but the lighting is HORRIBLE...the low ceilings are HORRIBLE....the graffiti on the walls are HORRIBLE...BUT I did just check out this new place off exit 66 in the LIE called Pickleball Heaven and it was amazing....check it out. Plus don't you just hate when they have open play at 4.0 + and everybody signs up is...

I went to Box Pickeball last night for the first time. First impression is it’s brand new and huge. There is a great selection of rackets to use and purchase as well and they have a great cornhole court. I went with my kids and they had a blast. We got hungry so I checked out the restaurant and bar. Fantastic beer and drink selection and they even had surfside which I loved. Tried some of the food and got hooked. The nachos were huge and so good, the honey old bay wings were amazing, and you have to try a smash burger. They are made fresh and I had a secret menu version of a Big Mac and now I can’t go back to fast food again. We had a great time and...
