Hollywood Theatre — Local services in Town of Salina

People are giving them great reviews because of the seats and the cost of snacks but what about the movies? They are all either about superheroes or monsters or cartoons. There used to be a wide variety, but since the Price doubled, they only cater to certain people , I haven’t seen a movie in two years because they’re all terrible. I’ve seen book club in the past, spirit, Lord of the rings, I can only imagine and others. A couple of years ago, we decided to go to the movies on Christmas night. I thought maybe the Hollywood would be playing a good Christmas movie. They were playing Halloween! Yes they were! Ridiculous. I appreciate the reply, but it did happen. Also, the owner picks the movies and that makes sense, but he no longer caters to the entire population. The other movies that I saw had good crowds as well. There’s nothing wrong with having variety. They’ve got these beautiful recliners, still good prices, but no variety of different types of movies anymore. They’re zoning in on one genre of people. An affordable movie theater for families. Parents are probably wary about taking multiple children to the mall and paying big money to see a movie. At the time of this review, Hollywood Theater charges $3/ticket! You will get to see recent movies after they've overstayed their welcome at Regal Cinemas. Because there is only one screen, there are only several showings a day. Make sure to plan ahead and arrive early. With the newly installed, leather reclining seats, it's important to make sure you aren't arriving late. While there is an abundance of seating, there's less than before so it may be hard for large groups to sit together unless you arrive early. Concession stand prices are reasonable with a wide variety of candy to choose from. Popcorn and Nachos are also available. Staff is friendly, theater is clean (did not visit the restroom). Movie was awesome,super comfortable seating full power recliners n you can almost flatten the chair out that how much they recline.two adults ,Drinks, large popcorn, nachos,twizzlers $42.54.wickedly cheap in my opinion.The only reason not 5 stars was cheese on nachos.i dont like that style cheese anyways but that was horrible it was luke warm and had a cardboard or papery taste to it.
