So this was the second time we have been here under the new owner and I'm very sad to say that I couldn't be more unhappy about how the management and owner operate the business on what could be a super fun event on night bowling ...the first time we went it was very unorganized and very confusing even though we had called ahead and "reserved" a few lanes ...they only do this for large party's...we had a group of 12 ...but when we arrived there was no one doing anything about "night bowling" because the league was still finishing up...its fine that they are there ..but there's no reason management couldn't have just said to us that we would be on the far 3 lane so we could all get away from the crowds of people standing at the door waiting to get their lane from being on the list as they showed up and checked in...tonight we arrived 45mins before night bowling typically starts (9:45pm till 11:45pm) and asked about the list or getting a lane and was told to just wait ....as 10:15pm rolled around and the leagues were still in the 4th frame with no worries of time we decided to leave .... I want so badly to like this place I like the prices ...I like the food there ...I like the jukebox and the nice little setup ...its got good feels ...I just Hate the horrible management and Bad communication skills of the people who run the business....btw I'm a league bowler I was just trying to bowl with my kids ...I understand the importance of having the lanes freed up during league play ...but they were playing ...
Read moreThis past weekend my wife and I were watching our two granddaughters, ages 7 and 10) while their parents were out of town. We took them to Brockport Bowl and could not be happier.
The woman at the counter was so friendly and courteous as my granddaughter had to try multiple shoe sizes before finding a good fit. Then she went out of her to check the ingredients in their soft pretzels to verify that my granddaughter was not allergic to any ingredients.
Beyond that, when the automated pin setter on our lane got stuck, I asked a staff member if he could fix it. When he said no problem, I also asked if he could show my other granddaughter what was behind the pins, because she had asked me earlier. He said that unfortunately he could not because it’s too dangerous when people are bowling. He fixed it and tried to take a behind the scenes video to show my granddaughter, but apologized that it didn’t come out. Then a few minutes later he came back with a kind gesture that my granddaughters will always remember.
This is beauty of a family-owned, small town business. We’re so glad...
Read moreVery decent experience. We did not eat during our visit so I cannot comment on the food selection. Only one glitch with the pin resetter but we were able to fix it via the console and did not need to contact staff. We were able to find bowling balls in the right weight and shoes in the correct size despite the establishment being quite busy. While not the least inexpensive outing, it was worth the cost for 7 of us to have an hour an a half visit; it's also one of the least expensive bowling alleys in the area. 4 stars as it's not the most up to date and there is some visible wear and tear but I'd recommend a visit and we'll...
