I recently visited our local restaurant and was shocked to see how much a person/employee could be humiliated by the supervisor/shift manager! My wife and I wanted to stop in to grab a quick snack and to our complete and utter disappointment we were witness to what we thought was incredibly awful treatment an employee received by her manager. As my wife and I were looking through the menu trying to decide what we wanted to order the employee must have just finished her shift and was in the process of ordering her meal to go. Mind you that my wife and I were the only 2 people in the location and roughly 2 cars in the drive through. The employee quietly and politely asked for her employee discount which after a long day is well deserved and the RUDE manager came up to the register and practically yelled "just so you know when we are busy we don't give employees discounts" as a customer and retail worker I find the way she was spoken to extremely inappropriate and unprofessional! If this is the kind of leadership this location has then I feel sorry for all the employees! Extremely horrible management! No one deserves to be spoken down...
Read moreThe employees who work at the Brockport Taco Bell have been friendly and helpful! It's the only fast food place that I visit where the employees don't sound miserable. I hope that means the employees are treated respectfully by their employer. I haven't had the same service at other Taco Bell's so I am going to assume the Brockport location emphasizes having good customer service. As far as food goes, typically things have tasted fresh. I use the drive thru most often and usually pull over to check my order. There have been a few times where I had to get back in line because something wasn't made how I ordered it. It is definitely annoying to have to reorder parts of your order. But when you reorder, they are apologetic and pleasant. I haven't been made to feel like I was a bother. Mistakes happen and how they are handled is what matters. For the atmosphere, I don't typically go in. The last time I ate inside was last year. Many tables were dirty and the napkin dispenser was empty. I'm hoping that was due to being understaffed and the employees just trying to keep up on orders. Otherwise, I do recommend...
Read moreWasn’t going to write a review until I saw someone else’s review about the same guy I had an issue with— he had pink hair and gave my grandma nothing but attitude. We ordered a drink with no ice and when he handed it to us with ice in it we said it was wrong and handed it back to him; he refused to fix the mistake and instead told us “really, there’s like two ice cubes in it” then slammed the window in our face and ignored us while we sat there astounded. I’ve never had an employee anywhere refuse to fix a mistake of my order nor have I ever been spoken to with such attitude and disrespect. And to see that I’m not the only one who has had an issue with this particular employee is even more disgusting. The past few weeks I have been going to this location several times a week and each time my order is missing an item and I have to go back, but today was the last straw I won’t give my money to a company whose employee treats me terribly.
