Brought my ignition coil in for the limited lifetime warranty and was denied it due to wear and tear. Ended up having to call corporate and the regional manager in order to get it resolved because the manager at this location refused to resolve it without the involvement of higher ups. I have lost my taste with autozone and I will do everything in my power unless it is an emergency to purchase from them ever again. Don't believe what they say about limited lifetime warranties. The manager told me that actually only means one year after purchase. What a scam
Update April 4th 24 Responded to the email that they provided and they sent me a copy of the warranty which basically says that they should have honored it but once again they did not and they told me to call customer service which is just as useless. Been waiting 5 days now for a district manager or someone higher to contact me and nobody has go to Napa or advance. They actually honor the warranties and won't tell you after one year. I had multiple issues with my vehicle and was getting conflicting advice and I asked these guys for their take. They were knowledgable about both their products and vehicles. The store was busy and they were amazingly efficient and apologized to me when I had to wait for 2 -3 minutes to do a test. They ran a test twice just to reassure me. They also answered all my questions. While they could have sold me a part I thought I might have needed on a seperate issue I had for the one I came in for, they pointed me to a less expensive option to try first and an item on sale. They gave me solid advice on making sure I had the problem nailed before randomly buying a part I may not need. They were friendly, had obvious integrity and I trusted them. Anytime I bring it to a dealership it is a struggle for them to even identify the problem, let alone fix it. This leads to every visit to any dealership being an absolutely miserable experience. This is definitely not the case for this place. The manager, Kevin, should honestly run every single mechanic shop/dealership there is. Him and his staff have great customer service, are extremely knowledgeable, will help you find what you need, and he even installed a new battery I purchased for no charge at all.
