I really didnāt want to have to do this because I think the owners are doing a great job with this dispensary and they are extremely accommodating but I really donāt want this to happen to anyone else , especially in the situation Iām in . Iāve been going to this dispensary consistently for about the last 5-6 months and the flower is consistent/ the edibles are consistent / the vapes are phenomenal and the staff are Amazing . Monday September 23rd around 9am I went to leafy peaks to purchase $45 worth of product . The machine they use for debit cards malfunctioned and Took $100 extra off my card then it was supposed to . I was told by staff at leafy peaks that it should be returned within 48 hours . Wednesday September 25th I went in store to address my refund since it had been a little over 48 hours . I promised a refund this day. Specifically being told that if I didnāt get refund by 48 hours they would 100% refund me the 25th . When I arrived - we called both of our banks and her processor told us the money never went to them that it was revered by my bank , so reaching out to my bank they let us know that there was no reversal and that the money was taken . The owner of leafy peaks told me that she could do nothing about this and that if I wanted a refund I had to reach out to my bank for one . My problem here is I explained to them that my grandfather and brother had passed away so I donāt have the extra money to throw away or wait on , we are actively planning a funeral for this Saturday so we need every dollar we can get. I walked out in tears because nobody seems to care . I would come to this dispensary only, for a while because I wanted to support them , I wanted their business to grow and I wanted to be apart of that . So I say this to say even if you support a business at the end of the day business is business and when things start going missing they have to Protect themselves and any assets even if it means your out of luck and have to pay for a mistake that wasnāt yours . Iāve disputed with my bank and I will be returned the money in maybe 10 days could be later if there investigation has any issues . I was given free product on Monday for the inconvenience but a 2.5 pack or pre rolls does not make up for the trouble Iāve had to endure . I would recommend using CASH ONLY until they are able to get a better system up and running . This is a black owned business so Iāve tried to make this as nice as possible with anyone getting offended because I too donāt like looking like an angry black women , but this is a really big inconvenience and it cost me money not just the $100 that was...

My biggest complaint is that I have arrived before the posted closing time and theyāve been closed. Staff still inside and the doors are locked⦠they shut the lights off after I tried the door! Having employees that choose to close doors early really hurt business⦠I try not to visit here unless Iām in a pinch.
Card reader does not accept any of my debit or credit cards. - Highly recommend bringing cash.
The line gets held up, because other people have issues with their payments as well.
The kiosk for ordering has some flaws! I ordered off the machine while someone was checking out that the register ā I purchased the last of a productā¦that the customer was in the process of purchasing at the counter. My order processed before his. So as I stand there, waiting for my order, the cashier tries to check him out for everything he stood there selecting and she canāt because one of the items was no longer available. The item I just bought. Without an apology, the cashier just laughed it off like āoopsā.
