I was ISO a tailor who could replace a 35” metal zipper on a coat. I called a few places only to be told they’d have to see the item before giving me a quote. One place said it would be around $70 but they’d have to see it. I called Cohoes Custom Tailors and Miss Cho quoted me about $50. When I dropped off the coat, Miss Cho said she would need to order me a new zipper so it would cost $70. She was worried that was too expensive. I was fine with the cost as I love the coat. When I returned one week later, she only charged me $25 since she was able to fix and reinforce the zipper. She was a consummate professional, very honest, hardworking, and a pleasure to do business with. She only works Tues-Thurs as she is semi retired. I highly recommend Cohoes...
