I went to the Pandora Outlet in Woodbury yesterday and had a very bad experience (and it wasn't the first time I experienced rude sales people). I asked to look at Pandora rings that were on clearance. I tried a ring on display that I was interested in. It fit but I wanted to know if there were other sizes. She looked and said no. There were two other ones in a display case that were too big. I decided that I would purchase the one on display. She told me after all time spent looking and trying on the display ring, that she could not sell it to me. If she had told me that in the beginning I would have understood. I asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and spoke to a manager. I waited a long time before asking why I wasn't seeing a manager. The salesperson who waited on me was sitting in the back when I asked. She said the manager was on the phone and proceeded to then close the door. When the manager finally came out she stated that she doesn't have the key to undo the display ring. I find this hard to believe and asked if they are ever changed. She said they have not been changed since Christmas. So they must have a key if they were changed before Christmas. I wanted to buy a ring and they would not make the sale--what kind of retail business is this. As I stated before, the sales staff has been rude and disinterested in waiting on myself and the people I was shopping with in the past. This time was the rudest they have been. Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this Pandora location last night. My husband, who is currently out of the country, placed a surprise order for our anniversary so that I only had to go in and pick up the jewelry piece. It should have been a simple process. Instead, when I explained my situation to the first associate, she immediately told me in a dismissive tone that “they don’t do that here,” while looking me up and down in a very unprofessional way. After that, she asked a coworker who confirmed that, in fact, they do handle such orders — yet she never apologized for the misinformation. She simply told me to wait. Then another person, possibly a supervisor, came out without even greeting me and just said their system was not working to verify the order number. I was left waiting with no clear guidance or effort to help me. When I returned after a short while, I was ignored at first and then told again that the system “wasn’t working” and that I would have to speak to the manager. No solutions, no empathy, and no professionalism. Meanwhile, I noticed they were happily helping walk-in customers who weren’t even making a purchase. Overall, I felt dismissed, unvalued, and disrespected during what should have been a special and memorable moment for me. Read moreI called yesterday , spoke with Jade and asked for a specific charm. I was told that it was very busy and I would have to call back. I called back and spoke with Jade again... I was told that they had 3 of the specific charm I was looking for. I was thrilled and told her I would like to purchase all 3 and have it shipped to me. She then told me that the manager wasn't there and she is the one who "fills out" the paper work for that order. I asked her what time the manager would be returning and she said she did not know. At that point she assured me that she had the 3 charms on hold for me... took my name and number and said that the manager would call me before the close of business. I did not receive a phone call. I called this morning and asked for Jade... I was told by Ashley that they bolonger have that charm... they sold the last one yesterday. Ashley then stated that she doesn't know what happened. It is a fact that people spend ALOT OF MONEY and ALOT OF TIME with this company... in return should receive NOTHING less than SUPERIOR customer service.
