This place is a health hazard if you have intolerances or allergens . Went in today and asked if their taro drink was vegan , I asked multiple times if they used taro powder and if it contained milk. I donât ask for it to be vegan to be annoying, I ask because I am SERIOUSLY intolerant to dairy but mostly milk powder . They said it was fine and went to make it but then said it contained milk powder so I asked about the Thai tea to which they said contained no dairy apart from condensed milk . Occasionally I have condensed milk with desserts and coffee drinks to which it creates a slight discomfort but I can handle it. However , I have been throwing up and have been seriously ill afterwards . My friend who was with me is only slightly lactose intolerant and it was the only thing we drank/ate in common today and she has been throwing up a lot too. The workers gave the impression that they were clueless but after they went in and said thereâs no milk powder I thought it would be fine. Plus they said all drinks are vegan , as long as you get soya milk . Clearly not. Management needs to do something about the staff here and their knowledge of ingredients . I write many many reviews and not once have I ever complained about being ill after a product. This is absolutely shameful and dangerous and...
Read moreItâs rare for me to leave this kind of review, but this isnât the first time Iâve experienced rudeness from the staff at this location.
Today, I ordered a wintermelon milk tea, but when I received my order, the label said âwintermelon latte.â As a customer, I politely informed them that I had ordered milk tea, not a latte. One staff member took my drink to check, and another responded in a rude tone, saying, âItâs the same thing.â Then, they slid the drink back to me in a very disrespectful manner. I had no choice but to leave with the drink, but when I looked back, all the staff were staring at me as if I had done something wrong.
I wonât be coming back to this location. Iâve been a fan of Gong Cha for a long time, but this branch doesnât make great drinksâand worse, the staff are unfriendly. It would be much better if they served quality drinks and treated their customers with...
Read moreI first had looked up this chain company on here, Google maps. After I saw my first Gong Cha shop, I knew I wanted to go there. Today I tried it for the first time. I was surprised they had so many choices for their teas and toppings. The employee was patient as we all stumbled through our orders. They then put together our drinks with quick efficiency. It altogether took about 5 minutes. I had the caramel milk tea with coconut jelly and it was SO GOOD. They didn't mess up anything and I've had places do that. I will definitely be going to any Gong Cha near me, but definitely this one. I had a great...
