Good Afternoon Google Family. I was there, yesterday to purchase products for my hair and for the family, like detergent and fabric softener. I liked the set up of the Target with the red logo and the red balls outside. It really looks nice on the outside as well as the inside. I could not find everything I was looking for, so I asked an associate. I checked out my items in the Self-Check out line, however I ran into a problem. I love Self check out because it is fast, usually!! Anyway, when I was finished checking out and I wanted to pay for my items, the register alerted me that I had a $5.00 discount available. Okay thats great, but I could not find where the gift cards were, so that I could apply the discount. I had to ask an associate and let me tell you, it was frustrating because no one was around. Usually, my experience has been, when there is a self check out line, there is someone standing there to assist if needed. No one was there!! I was looking around and finally I saw an associate. He was checking someone out. I called that I needed help and he came over. By that time, I had found the gift cards, which were right above me in the checkout line. The associate assisted with the gift card issue and then told me that I could not apply the discount today. I had to wait and do it another day that I was in. No problem, I said, I just wanted to pay for my items and leave. He assisted me with that and finally I was able to put my cash in the places it indicated, I received my receipt and grabbed my items and I left. Finally!! I was glad to get out of there. ON my way to Oasis to get a smoothie. Good night Google Family!!! An update to this review is that this is now my go to to purchase short sets and other retail items. I found a place that will allow me to keep the hangers of the items that I purchase. I refused to give up after being told at Burlington Coat Factory, the location in Plymouth Meeting, PA and the one in Cheltenham Mall, that I could not take the hangers. So incredibly stupid!! The customers purchase items from the business and they should be allowed to keep the hangers. If it was not for customers like you and me, the business would not be in business. Before I started looking for clothes and trying them on, I asked an associate if I could keep the hangers, if I purchased something. She said yes. and I said Hallelujah!! Finally, a place that understands that customers should be allowed to keep their hangers. I told her my experiences with Burlington Coat Factory, at both locations. I purchased some sleep wear for Mom and a bodysuit for myself and away I went after I had finished purchasing it. They don't have bags, no worries, next time I will bring my own. Goodbye Burlington and Good riddance, I will be shopping at Target from now on. Good night...
Read moreI have to be brutally honest here. I have been standing in the electronics section in this store since 1:40pm. It is now 2:05. I have given up waiting for anyone. I was told by 1 ridiculously rude woman who clearly was so angry I even looked at her for any help. So that was unprofessional in a retail environment. I even said “I don’t need you specifically to walk over and help me, but if someone could meet us over there I would appreciate it”. To which she rolled her eyes and walked away. Nobody came. I waited another 5 minutes. Then I asked someone else. This woman was “going home” so didn’t help me. She did tell a tall man that i needed help (this exchange was 25 feet from the isle I needed something opened in). This man said and I literally quote. “I’ll be right there after I’m done here” (he was looking for Phillies clothes for a woman. Which they do not have the girl who was on her way out told him. Then instead of walking over to the customer (me) who was clearly the one who needed his help, this guy goes over to another customer and asks him if he wants to check out. Proceeds to check him out. My 8 year old and my 9 year old both asked me why nobody does what they say they’re going to do in this store.
I will never come back here. And I hope everyone avoided this TINY Target. Their customer service is one of the most inept and unprofessional I’ve ever seen. But hey. They’ve got 6 people rearranging signs at the clothing area…. So that’s clearly more important to them than...
Read moreYes people, this is a "mini-target." I'm not sure what everyone was expecting? It's not a full-sized Target - look at it for goodness sake. It's boutique sized. It is not going to hold the key to all your wishes and dreams. It shares a parking lot with several other businesses and it's on the main drag of Lancaster avenue. If you're looking for basic things and you're also getting groceries next door - they have it. If you're looking for 10 different shades of a favorite item you saw online and you're deeply upset that this location doesn't have it, that's your problem. This is a great location for excellent customer service, a wonderful little Starbucks for a drink on your way out, and competitively priced groceries. If you walk around your life with unrealistic expectations, you're going to be disappointed in everyone...
