I recently had the pleasure of dining at Saffron, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by its charming ambiance. The spacious and tastefully decorated interior created an inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at ease. The staff at Saffron truly went above and beyond to ensure that every customer felt welcome and taken care of. From the moment I was greeted at the door to the moment I left, their attentiveness and friendliness made me feel like a valued guest. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were more than happy to offer recommendations based on my preferences. Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, the food! It was an absolute culinary delight. The authentic Indian cuisine served at Saffron is truly a feast for the senses. Each dish was meticulously prepared with care and precision. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was visually stunning. Whether it was the aromatic biryani or the flavorful tikka masala, every bite was a delight. What impressed me the most was that the dishes were not overly spicy or overcooked. The chefs at Saffron truly understand the art of Indian cooking, maintaining the true essence of the flavors without overwhelming the palate. It was evident that they take pride in showcasing the best of South Asian cuisine. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Saffron to anyone in search of an exceptional dining experience. Whether you are a fan of Indian cuisine or simply looking to explore new flavors, you will not be disappointed. The ambiance, the service, and most importantly, the food, all come together to create a memorable experience. Trust me, you won't regret it.

First time visit and disappointed by the service. Firstly we were supposed to receive 2 sides of rice per the menu items. But we're served only 1. When asked about it , the answer we received was- "the side of rice is complimentary so only 1 is served. Once that is over, we will seve another side. We do not want to waste food..!" But why is that? If your menu says we will receive a side, period. We will do a to-go of the left overs, so why do u care..? Secondly, we were charged a "tip" of 20%. We were 2 adults and 3 kids aged 11, 8 and 6. Gratuity or tips are usually for a party of 6 or more typically. When asked about it, the reply we received was- "we add 20% tip when serving a party of 3 or more..!" Ambience: 3/5, food: 3/5. Overall: 2/5. Do not recommend and not going again.

Saffron Kitchen in Wayne is a delightful BYOB restaurant that excels in both food quality and service. The staff is attentive and accommodating, willing to modify dishes to meet individual preferences. They also inquire about your spice tolerance, ensuring each meal is tailored to your taste. The standout dish is the Salmon Tandoori, which is cooked to perfection with a beautiful blend of spices. The great service complements the dining experience, making it a place you'll want to return to. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or just looking to try something new, Saffron Kitchen is a must-visit spot in Wayne.

This might just be the best Indian food in the area. I am a HUGE fan of Indian food so when Taste of India in Gateway closed, I was heartbroken. But my loyalty to the now-closed Taste of India has completely wavered because of the meal I had here. The Kadhai Paneer Makhani was one of the best paneer dishes I have had in my life time. I asked for it spicy and they delivered with the perfect level of spice- right between “my mouth is on fire” and “but I can actually taste flavors other than spice”- which is my ideal spice point. (I have a relatively high spice tolerance but not the highest — more of a sriracha than a habanero girl, if that makes sense. So if you’re not that tolerant, hit the mild or medium and if you are ALLSPICEGIVEITTOMENOW tolerant, I’d even ask if they can make it extra hot.) It’s hard to go wrong with Garlic Naan. Still, they absolutely delivered chewy, warm Naan that hit the spot amazingly. The one tiny complaint I have was the basmati rice was quite dry and flavorless (yes, I know it’s rice — it’s not meant to be the most exciting thing in the world) and it was fine mixed with the curry, but it also might be worth getting multiple orders of Naan/Roti and using that to eat it instead. But that definitely was not enough to make me ding a star from this excellent place.

This is also a wonderful place for vegetarians with a host of different options in the relatively large veg section.

Excellent portion sizes too, though order an app or an extra order of Naan/Roti if you’re starving. Will be...

do not go this place for Friday lunch buffet . i went for Friday buffet and there were only 8 items to serve. (I believe they have same strategy for any day lunch buffet . so avoid) And price was 11$ . you will have lot of options for buffet with same price and good quality food with lot of options available. (Ex- Himalayan Restaurant servers 10$ buffet with almost 12-15 more items with veg and non-veg items). Quality of food was worst I have been so far to any Indian restaurant. They do not even have bowls to serve for curry. This is not even worth 1 star. No wonder there were very less number of customer, because as a customer I would think to visit this place again.Don’t visit again and waste your time and money . Do not go by positive reviews below, they all seems fake and written by owner.I only like the name of the restaurant, everything else sucks.

There was no way I can respond to owner thats why I am editing my review here.

So Mr. Owner thats all you have to say"Another cheap attempt my competitors to defame our restaurant"? FYI I am not getting paid for any negative reviews by your competitors. I myself visited there on Friday and wasted my money. Look at your Friday buffet menu. only few tasteless items which you charge like 11$. I can post pictures from another restaurant , they have lot number of food varieties as well...
