LOVE this store!! Not only do they have a wide range of products that offer better sustainability, for everyday needs, but they also have an owner that is passionate about the cause. Whether it’s going in to refill at the bulk bar (they have soaps, lotions, cleaning options, stuff specifically for babies, etc.), replenishing my lip balm, or seeing what new products I can incorporate into my life to make more informed choices; I always leave feeling happy. Also, the owner is super kind, helpful and passionate about 86’ing Plastic. (I tried to work the business name in there, I hope it worked 😉 ). If you’re ever in the area, I highly suggest coming in and seeing what they have to offer. You won’t be disappointed.

They also have a pickup feature on their website, which is super helpful for when you need to replenish, but are in a rush! Place the order, and then come on in and pick it up....

If you care about environmental sustainability then 86 Plastic is definitely the store for you. Today, I was in the store with my 2 granddaughters (ages 7 and 10) and Claire, the owner, took the time to show the girls how to weigh our glass containers, how to fill them, and how to do the final weigh. Thank you! I hope their experience plants a seed in them that our environment is important to save and how they can help do this. Claire supports other small businesses and makes it easy for us to also support them by bringing them to her location. Whenever I'm in the store, in addition to my regular purchases, I can usually always find something new and different to buy to support sustainability and local...

I have visited 86 Plastic a few times now and not only was I able to purchase what I came for, but I have also always found new items to help reduce plastic use in our home. They even have fun, environmentally-conscious gifts if you're looking for something creative for a special occasion!

I love that 86 Plastic also frequently hosts local events to encourage the community to reduce/reuse/recycle, such as clothing & plant swaps.

Everyone should be doing what they can to help our planet and 86 Plastic is a great place to provide that support! I highly recommend...
