High touch sales experience. As a gentleman of substantial proportion, shopping at a specialty retailer like DXL is often my only option for a quantity of good fitting menswear. The store is well laid out and has a variety of clothing options from casual to formal wear. The sales staff seem to be knowledgeable and helpful, but a bit intrusive with offering options. Yes, this is their job, but a bit more time for wandering and making choices without conversation and gentle pressure would be welcome. The clothing DXL carries seems to be well made and has held up well. The only place I can get a decent suit is from a tailor. But, DXL is a terrific place to get individual pieces. They have a beautiful selection of shirts and slacks with sleeves and in seams long enough! Usually I still need alterations to cut the tenting out of the shirts, but I can live with that.
They also have a nice selection of...
