We had an awful experience with this company. They have a really big problem with scheduling appointments then when you show up they "have you down for another time" Our taste testing was supposed to be at 11:30 pm on a Saturday... we go there and he states that he had us down for 2:00pm which is not at all true because we had our engagement pictures that day at 4pm. I also had the text message from him showing him we confirmed it for 11:30 that day. Then, about 10 minutes after we left he calls my phone and asks me what time we had our taste testing set up for, I explained that we had it for 11:30pm and we JUST left his house...he then stated he was very confused and I just hung up at that time as I have had enough. This was the second time he had set up an appointment and had us down for a different time. Before this had even happened, I had tried contacting them to just set up the taste testing appointment and it was a run around and they were supposed to contact me back but never did so I would constantly have to contact them. I do no at all recommend this place. I feel as though either they have entirely too much going on for what they can handle or there is some serious issues going on. After the phone call I received from him we were done. We are now in the process of finding another caterer who can actually do what we need them to do. I used Stillwater Valley Catering for my daughter’s baby shower. I was not at all impressed with the quality of food or service that was provided. The employees were 45 minutes late so they were still setting up when guests started to arrive. One of the men who delivered was really rude and said that we had way too many tables for the little bit of food we had, although I was also surprised at the small amount of food that we had considering the cost. The sandwiches had plenty of meat but the cheese was dried out. The carrots in the shooters were all white and completely dried out, no one ate them. The meatballs were burnt and the donuts looked and tasted like they were from Tim Hortons. We were not told that we needed to provide any containers to take home the left over food. It was mentioned several times that they had a much bigger event that they needed to take care of that day. If you cannot give the same level of service to all of your events, then you may want to pass on the smaller ones. The one positive note was that the woman that stayed to help was very nice. Extremely disappointed!! Robert tends to have a bad temper. Stillwater catered my daughters wedding. While in line waiting to be served one of the bridesmaids (brides sister) asked for a smaller piece of chicken. He got so angry and yelled at her and then flung the chicken into to the trash can. He also snapped at the photographer and the grooms mother. He was very late. The green beans were not the ham based ones that we had taste tested. They had absolutely no flavor at all. When we taste tested everything was pretty good. They also brought Mac and cheese which was not even what the couple had ordered in their contract. The couple was told that all left overs would be put in fridge for the couple to send home with guest. But that did not happen. Robert throw it all away. They never did a second call on the food therefore some guest that had been outside did not even get to eat. The tablecloths were not picked up we had to deliver them to his house.
