It was the 1st visit for the family. Girl was a little rude about having to go to a specific spot to place our order, so maybe some additional signage would help solve that. The cone I received was extremely stale. The actual flavor of my ice cream (Cherries Jubielee) was somewhat bland compared to what I've had at other ice cream places. Ordered 4 items and had to wait 20 minutes to get them all... 15 minutes from my daughter's item until my son finally got his. On top of that, the pricing is outrageous! It cost $27 for 4 items (1 1-scoop cup, 1 2-scoop cup, I waffle cone, and 1 PB parfait)... Ridiculous! I'm sorry, but for that price I can get at least 2 visits at other places with better service...
Read moreWhat a wonderful little ice cream shop in Troy! Kind of off the beaten path, this little place has a great selection of ice cream and a number of other treats.
They had about twenty different flavors the day we were there and you can get it in a cake cone, sugar, come, or a couple of types of waffle cones. You can also get it in a cup. No matter how it is served the ocean is very creamy and flavorful - it is not so cold that it is brick-hard, but just soft enough to really bring the flavors out.
