Rent One — Local services in Trumann

I'm not very happy with my experience doing business with Rent One in Trumann. My home was destroyed by a tornado and I needed to buy a new recliner to complete my living room set in my new home. I was ready to pay for a recliner in full, but asked about the return period just in case we didn't like it after purchase. The employee told me they had never been asked about their return policy and didn't know what it was. He then recommended that I rent the recliner for a week so I could decide if it was a good fit.

After two days, I decided that the recliner was not what I was looking for. It had a built-in massager/heater and the elements inside were pushing on my back. So, I called the store and asked to return it.

I was told that the earliest pickup would be a week away, so I offered to bring it to the store myself (I also picked it up from the store when I got it). While on my way to the store, they called me back to tell me I could not return the recliner until 30 days had past.

I informed them that I was told differently and that I was on the way with the recliner. I don't appreciate being lied to. Had I known about the return policy (which I asked about in-store), I never would have rented...

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with this company! Kimberly has went above and beyond to help me in anyway I asked and went the distance in getting me the appliances I’ve requested. She’s absolutely amazing and the best to work with!! I would suggest working with Kimberly and Ester any day of the week!
