Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Trumann

This Sonic location is awful. Run by a bunch of teenagers, it goes exactly how you think something run by a bunch of teens would go. I like Sonic's food when made properly, and I love love love the "dirty" sodas. But Sonic isn't one of the cheaper fast food options, which makes this location all the more infuriating. The last 10 times we've been here, they've messed up part of our order. When we have to hit the button again for assistance in fixing the order, they act like we've just insulted their mommas and severely inconvenienced them. They will bag fries and tots for your order while you're sandwiches are still being made, letting the sides sit out and get cold and rock-hard. I love the tots but haven't had a decent order of them from this location since summer of last year. The two biggest complaints though are 1. The sloppy drinks. They will, with a straight face and no shame, hand you a drink that is dripping with soda all over the outside, sticky, lid half on. I understand you're busy, but it takes only a few seconds to wipe down a drink & completely secure the lid. And lastly, the most infuriating thing that makes my eye twitch - which, in their defense, this may be an overall Sonic directive coming from them, but nevertheless, whomever decided this was the way to run things, please HMU. THEY HOLD YOUR ORDER HOSTAGE, READING THE ENTIRE THING TO YOU before handing it to you. When you have a big order with modifications, and your food is being held outside in the cold wind while some teenager is reading the whole receipt AHHH. I don't get this because even if its correct on the receipt, I guarantee it isn't correct in the bag. And because y'all don't believe in bagging up cheese tots or chili fries or hot dogs, they are just getting cold in the winter or covered in flies and your ice cream melting...

Getting orders right is not their best quality. I have to drive 10 miles back up there half the time. I just want my order to be correct and to be HOT!! Its not that hard to read a ticket.

Another disappointing order on 5/29/21…It’s just too much to ask to get an order right. And my food was cold. There’s only 1 of 3 places to get fast food late at night when you are exhausted and don’t feel like cooking. I end up cooking anyway even after wasting $30 on an order from this location. And no I will not call to have them do something to my food if I complain.

Again…It’s now been a year and nothing has changed. They still can’t even get a simple order right. The drinks had NO ICE in them at all. The carhop didn’t care if my order was wrong, she only offered my receipt. I couldn’t read the receipt because the ink was faded and only printed half the words. I ordered through the app and that’s where I had to read my receipt and they shorted me half of my food order. I will wait another year before I go back to this location. Go to Jonesboro Sonic, it’s worth the drive!!! DONT ORDER THROUGH THE APP!! Your order will be wrong every time!!! Just be prepared for disappointment when you visit...

Just last week I ordered the ultimate meat and cheese burrito. Got home and after several bites realized they had forgotten the bacon and zesty cheese sauce. The manager was nice enough to take my name for a free one. Tonight we ordered our food and about 12 minutes later the screen said our food was on the way. 10 minutes go by and we had not received our food yet so we buzzed back in and asked about it. They told us they were going to find out what the deal was. Another 7 minutes go by before a carhop comes out with our food. The milkshake had clearly sat on the counter for several minutes as it was runny. All of our food was barely warm. And everyone knows how cold tater tot’s taste. Not to mention all three “chicken tenders” fit in my palm. They were as long as my hand is wide. Roughly 3 inches in length. That’s more like an oversized chicken nugget. I can’t believe that’s what we got for $30. I haven’t taken a sip of my drink yet but I’m going to bet it’s already watered down since our order clearly sat on the counter for 15-20 minutes before being brought to us.
