Hightower's is still turning out some of the best burgers and onion rings! I didn't have room for a shake but 40 years ago they were looked forward to on the drive to Hardy, I will be getting off the bypass and stopping by Hightower's again on the next trip up.

The food has went WAY down hill in the last few years. Grilled chicken sandwich had almost no flavor and was so dry I couldn't eat it. The staff wasn't rude but wasn't friendly. They may have said a total of 2 words to us.. It's sad because they used to be...
