Honey & Spice Health Foods — Local services in Trussville

I’m new to this area. Before I moved here I worked in a health food store for seven years. A small mom and pop type store. I am used to having to pull forward the product so the shelves look orderly and neat. When I came through the first time I noticed that the product on the shelf was in disarray which to someone who works in retail, it would tell me they do not care very much about the appearance of their environment.

I figured that the best selling brands in prevention of colds, North American Herb & Spice, as well as the number one pain reliever, Terry Naturally , and the other products this company makes and clinically test before putting on the market, they could have a section all on there own and it would sell very well. Sad to say some of their shelves were out of stock on items. I was disappointed to come into the store twice the size from the one I was used to and the appearance saddened me. I believe this store has more potential than it knows it has. I hope that this heads up spurs on some change. There are many other things that are a positive in this little store. The folks there are always ready to answer questions about particular products and willing to help. Thank you!:) I have come in twice before and found one of the employees eating her lunch in front of all to see, there by the register. This is unsanitary. I’m sure there Is an employee break area where lunches can be eaten.

There are never any customers there. When I called, they were rude and got me off the phone as fast as they could. When I went in the store, the guy who appears to be a manager or owner was abrasive and loud and ran me out of their store as quick as he could. I’m not sure what business they’re in, but proceed with caution and only spend cash if you must. Don’t give them a card or any personal information. There are plenty of reputable health stores...

3 people working all just looked at me. No greeting no nothing. I walked the whole store & spa area. I got a mean look like i wasnt wanted there ao I left. The lady that came in after me got a smile, greeting & directions to where her products were. I will NOT return and will call my friends that thought this would be a good busibess for us to make our weekly purchase & advise to look...
