A customer for 7 years and finally had to FIRE her as a my braider. Unfortunately there is a server lack of professionalism& customer service . And has ALWAYS been . I typically try to give Grace, unfortunately the rudeness was too much . This lady will eat while doing your hair , talk on the phone the entire time (loudly ) preventing progress and quote you 4 hours and take 8. I tolerated A LOT bc of her good prices however, my last appt she had me wait TWO hours just to then tell me she won’t have enough time to do my hair. After I drove HOUR and a Half to get to her shop with my two toddlers in tote. It’s not the first time she has done this… I have given so much Grace over the years however the lack of consideration and blatant disrespect was too much. I have referred clients over the years and have been a consistent customer. So this review doesn’t come with malaise but truth. Natural hair braids she does fine however once you request extensions she will price change on arrival. You will send pictures and agree on the price just for her to change on arrival and extended amount of time in the shop. I have missed several appts due to the lack of time management and consideration AGAIN I continued to give grace. Although talented the LACK of customer service was enough for me to leave if your BIG on customer appreciation and good customer service this is not the salon for you. However if you want cheap prices tend to tolerate A LOT of unprofessionalism. No More. Once she showed a lack of consideration for my time I packed my belongings and children up and was more than ready to leave .she Proceeded to use foul words once I told her she failed to respect my time. Secure at your own risk. There is a more professional African hair shop in the Publix plaza off LaVista I recommend you go there. Very respectful of your time and does QUICK work. My first visit was this morning. I read the reviews upon making my appointment on Friday for today(Saturday 20th) The customer service of the manager was great. She asked what I wanted and if I had a picture. I sent her a picture she gave me the price $175. I couldn't turn it down. So I showed up today for 0830, and met Ms. Penda. With her not really understanding my language she made a call and I spoke with someone else they translated to her. After that she and I talked I wanted color. However, it will be my first time adding color to my hair She and I was going to and from the chair to look at hair to mix. Finally she said go with the color and I did, she put one row on both sides of my hair near the front because i wasn't too sure about the color. The color turned our great!! MS. Penda was awesome!! She definitely has a client and that's me. I found my braider at Sarah's International! I will continue to come here. If you have not been go try them out and ask for Ms.Penda.. you'll thank me later I knew after the service I had to call the manager and brag on MS. PENDA!

Upon arrival at the salon, I was delighted to find that I could easily enter the building and was promptly guided to her chair to begin the session.
