Read moreThe absolute worst customer service I have EVER experienced!!!!!! I never write reviews but this restaurant should not be in business!!!!!! First off when you call you have to yell to place your order because even at 4pm the music if blasting!! But I ordered and it took about 25 minutes because of the fact they could not here me with all the noise and kept placing me on hold. Then she told me to call her cell phone because she couldn't hear me good after holding and I did and I placed an order for 25 people at 4pm and asked for the food to be delivered by 8 and they agreed and said it would be here before 8. I asked several times to verify it would be here by 8pm at least and the women agreed. The cost for the food was high and I specified I needed it delivered and assumed they included the charge or because of the high dollar amount of food I was purchasing that the cost was included. As soon as I got off the phone I texted her my address to be sure they wouldn't get anything wrong. But At exactly 7:37pm I had a man call me telling me that he would charge me $50-$60. I told him they did not mention a single thing to me about an additional charge and I told him to discuss it with the restaurant and call me back. I didn't hear back so I called at 8pm and they lied and told me the food was on the way. I called the guy and he told me he was a private taxi service and that he hasn't even made it back to the restaurant yet to pick up my food. So I called the restaurant back and they hung up on me several times and I was on hold for a total of an hour while they blasted the music in the background. l finally I gave up because they kept lying to me blaming it on the chef and everyone else with not even an apology! Here it is 9:00pm and the food hasn't arrived and my guests are waiting. I would encourage people to never trust and order from this restaurant for special occasions or at all to say the least because They DO NOT care about customers and they know nothing about running a business! So unprofessional which is why most dominican owned restaurants close down. They charge you up front so you are just stuck waiting! They don't even deserve the one star to say the very least!!!! Save yourself the headache and order from another Dominican restaurant! At least Mi Pilon on Buford highway has great customer service and I should have ordered...
Read moreI already felt the vibe was off when I first arrived. I came in with a group of my friends and the waitress at the bar had a weirdness to her and her attitude was as if she didn’t like me. All night I joked with my friends saying she doesn’t like me. Turns out she really didn’t like me. She treated my friends who were a different skin tone than me nicer. Issue: They had a set price on the menu for shrimp empanadas as $9.00 for three of them. $6.00 for beef. When the bill comes out it shows $12.00 so I ask my friends if I was incorrect or not. (I also ordered 2 mango margaritas) We tell the woman at the bar and some other woman cam and and used the excuse was that shrimp is more expensive which I completely understand but why have it as shrimp is $9.00 on the menu. Then all these people come from the back and then start to diss us in Spanish thinking we didn’t know what we were talking about. One man even comes behind the bar pulls his phone out and say things like “oh these black woman have a problem with the bill!” And he records us. I say whatever and it’s no big deal and she changes the price to a cheaper price. It wasn’t that I wanted her to change it to the beef price, I just wanted to know why the menu had one price and the bill they were charging me was a different price. I pay and move on from this. As we are wrapping this up another worker from the back decided to slide by towards the bar and whisper something under his breath to insult me as if I was being petty. (something along the lines of shrimp because I ordered shrimp.) When I brought this to the attention of the woman at the bar she proceeded to pretend that she didn’t know what I was talking about since there was a language barrier. We were even using a translator app and I asked was there a problem and why did he say that?
