Let me tell you about Pho Viet Number One, formerly known as I Luv Pho. Whether you are having a bad day, tired from a long day of work or life, maybe you had a good day and you wanna make it better —this place is here for you. Their pho will cleanse/soothe/heal your soul and all of your worries and anxiety will melt away. I usually get the P24 (white meat chicken pho), and if I’m with a friend we’ll do a small pho and split a chicken Bahn mi (sandwich). As a note: the bahn mi comes with jalapeño peppers so if you’re not into spicy you can ask for this item without it. If you’re not into soups, they also have rice plates and noodle plates (vermicelli) that are also very delicious. If you like boba or milk tea they have this too! Their service is usually pretty quick so you aren’t waiting too long for your food.
Aside from the amazing food, I think this is my favorite spot because of the atmosphere. Although it is a spacious restaurant it feels homey. They have a projector that usually has traditional Vietnamese YT music videos playing. Pho Viet also has a strong decor game. During holidays their restaurant is so beautiful! My favorite when they decorate for their New Years. Before moving to the ATL area, I used to travel here for work and no matter where I was in the metro area, if I had time and wanted pho I’d come here. Don’t feel weird about eating here alone, people do it all the time and they usually seat you at one of the tables to the side, lol.
Lastly, if you’ve never had pho before I recommend you try it here! It really is so good. They have different meat options for your pho, and it comes with noodles. Most of the pho options come with clear broth and there are sauces on the table that you can add. The sauces are fish sauce, hoisin sauce, chili sauce, and Sriracha. Hoisin with some Sriracha is my go to. The hoisin gives it a sweet flavor. When you order pho there are veggies on the side that come with it to share as a table. The veggies are basil, bean sprouts, jalapeño peppers, and limes. Chopsticks are on the table, but if you don’t use chopsticks make sure to...
Read moreI ordered food via DoorDash. My advice is to order only via to go or in store dining. My order was to have a sandwich, salad, beef stew and pho number 1. I received all items except pho number one-I only got the filet mignon but not the meatballs, tripe, tendon, etc. I called the store and told them and they told me come to the store and the missing items would be prepared. I get to the store and they ask me for the picture to show proof that those items were missing.
I stated no one told me to take pictures of my order so I didn’t (prob naive on my part) and they said they’d take care of it and they handed me a box of meat that would normally be a quarter to one-half portion of what they’d normally fulfill for this order.
I feel cheated because I paid for the item and didn’t receive it and then was questioned as if I’m not being honest about my complaint. Just order in store/to go in store. Don’t use DoorDash because they won’t believe you if your order is messed up.
The pictures will show everything. This first picture is what I received in my order, the second picture is what was given to satisfy the missing items: 1/2 meatball , 2 tendons, brisket and tripe (both not full servings).
I order from them often. I just didn’t think they’d be hesitant to rectify a mistake on...
Read moreOriginal Review: Ordered through the service on their website. They remembered that I asked for no nuts, so I figured they probably got the order right. I ignored the mess that the dining room was clearly using it as a page to assemble orders. Was glad I didn't decide to eat in. Took it back to my hotel and was surprised to find that they got both items on my order wrong. Missing items and options they charged for. Tried calling and when get to the option to speak to someone it goes to voicemail... And of course the mailbox is full. Only good thing to say was the pork was actually pretty good... Probably would have been great with other other...
