I have had friends tell me for YEARS that I should get a ‘curly girl cutt’ and learn how to treat my natural waves/curls; but I was always hesitant due to the price of haircuts, products, and increase in routine. I found the Siren Salon via a google search and immediately booked an appointment due to how informative their website was! The salon itself is incredibly beautiful and very comfortable. Everyone there was so nice and welcoming; and I was in awe of the other girls hair results as they were leaving while I was waiting for my turn (which was a very short wait). My appointment was with Helen and she was INCREDIBLE! She asked me questions about my current hair routine, what I wanted the end results to be, reviewed reference photos I had ready, and walked me through the entire process from start to finish. At the end of my appointment, I walked away with exactly the hair I had hoped for, and received an email the same day detailing my personal hair care products and routine to do it myself at home! I get compliments ALL THE TIME now about my hair and I have grown so much more confident because of it. So if you’re thinking about getting a curl-cut, go to Siren Salon! It was definitely worth the investment in myself! :)

I've had straight as a nail hair my entire life. Perimenopause said "hold my beer!". Needless to say I had no idea how to manage, care for, or even style this new hair growing out of my head. It's curly at the scalp but still straight from mid length down. I didn't know less product, cotton towels or microfiber only. I didn't know what speed or temperature to diffuse at. I've been putting it in buns for 6 months. So for my birthday, I texted Siren for a consultation. Ellen spent 2 hours washing my hair, showing my HOW it needs to be dried, teaching me to not scrunch a ton, and to patiently diffuse. She answered every single question and was an absolute GEM of a human being. It's going to be a process to get this right. The continuous water sprayer is my new bestie... Since Monday (its Friday) my hair has only gotten better. The curls are curling. It's in an awkward stage as most of my length is only wavy... but I am loving embracing this new hair texture and these girly pops know their ish & WILL help to figure it out... I loved the vibe, everyone was kind, and it was a relaxing and clean space. Will go back and 10000x recommend.

OMG. I have never wrote a bad review. If I don’t like the service, I just don’t go back. No big deal. This needs to be seen. I brought my 15 year old daughter in for her first real hair cut. I chose Siren because they are suppose to specialize in curly hair. We gave inspo pics before and showed a couple more when we got to the appointment. The lady said that it is longer than what she thought so the price would be more. $90. Fine. The areas cut short on the sides are not even and very far back. The hair style is very disjointed. No blending or shaping took place. My daughter is too polite to hurt somebody’s feelings and I did not want to cause a scene but I am very upset. I am urgently looking for someone who can correct this awful haircut ASAP. The first pics are inspo pics. The ones with the face blurred out are my daughter. You decide. People need to know so they won’t have to go through this.

Skye was very sweet and knowledgeable. She was easy to talk to and made the experience relaxing. With that being said, I went in with the intentions of having a cut and color. A little over halfway through the appointment I had asked about the coloring only to be told there wasn’t enough time and I would have to schedule another appointment to come back. Slightly annoyed as I had made the appointment with the intentions of getting a trim & color, and had already talked about my color ideas for my hair and wasn’t told then it wouldn’t be able to be done today, but understood nonetheless. I made another appointment for a week out, and went to pay for the day’s services. The total was somewhere around $97. I asked her if this included anything for my coloring appointment or if this was only for today’s services. It was only for what I had received that day. So, I paid $100 to get my hair trimmed. She did a fine job, but never in my life have I ever paid $100 just to have my hair trimmed and shaped. I didn’t receive any coloring, or really have any length taken off. A simple trim and shaping that took all of 30 minutes. The rest of the almost 2 hour session was spent applying product and styling my hair. Perhaps It’s my own fault for never having been to an All Curly salon, and I simply didn’t know what to expect. I’m used to visiting regular salons with hopes someone there is comfortable with curls, and the “styling” not being necessary as I just needed the cut/color services and would style my hair at home on my own. If I had known going into this I was also paying for the styling of my curls along with the trim I simply would have opted out of the styling or gone to a regular salon to receive a regular trim (and probably color) like I have been my whole life. She did a cute styling on my hair, but again.. I’ve had curly hair for 24 years and have been styling it myself for just as long. I made the appointment in need of a trim, shape, and color. Which are things I cannot do at home for free.. like styling my curls. Needless to say, I’m almost afraid of how much an appt here would cost for doing anything more than just a trim, and I won’t be making any further appointments with Siren due...

Micah is the person to go to when you’re figuring out your hair journey. She was the first person I went to when I decided to embrace my new hair texture. Honestly, she’s the only one I trust to bring all my ideas to life.

When my hair texture changed - I felt so overwhelmed and lost - new curls, new routines, and I had no clue where to start. Micah made the transition so my easier. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and didn’t just send me home with a new haircut; she took the time to show me how to actually style and maintain it. She explained what products I should look for, walked me through all the changes I needed to make with my current routine, and gave little tips that made a huge difference in my day to day life. I left knowing how to live with my curls.

What sets Micah apart is how much she actually listens. I’ve never worked with anyone that makes me feel 100% welcomed and heard. I always come in with a few inspo pics - never completely sold on any of them - but she doesn’t just copy what’s in the photos. She takes the time to figure out what I actually like about each one and matches that up with the amount of time (or lack there of) I can dedicate to a hair routine. She always manages to read in between the lines and create something that’s perfect for me. She understands what I’m asking for better than I do.

On top of being a phenomenal stylist, she’s a genuinely kind and warm person. She remembers the little things we chatted about and checks in. It’s like hanging out with a friend who just happens to be ridiculously talented with hair.

If you’re looking for someone to takes the time to really hear you, make you feel welcome, and can bring your ideas to life, Micha is it. She’s an absolute gem & I cannot...

I have been going here for years and I can’t say enough how wonderful everyone is. Shirin literally saved my curls. My first appointment I walked in looking like a scarecrow with stringy straw-like hair and after being taught how to actually care for curly hair my hair has never looked better. The knowledge that everyone has is incredible. They truly know what they’re doing and I appreciate that Shirin is always striving to learn new ways to care for all kinds of curly hair. When you walk in it feels very relaxed and accepting of everyone. I’ve been to other salons where I feel like I’m in the movie Mean Girls but definitely not here. Everyone is welcome and treated fairly and that is the expectation across the board from clients and stylists. I also really like that gratuity is included in the cost already. It shows respect to the employees and is actually super handy because trying to do math after a super relaxing appointment is never easy. I’ve recently been seeing Jewel and she is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. And she knows what she’s doing too! She listens to what I want my hair to look like and does some awesome chemistry magic with the color and then picks her styling ingredients and bam my hair looks great! She really knows her products and always has great recommendations for products for me to try at home too. I wish everyone has the opportunity to go here. If you have curly hair, or even want to see if you have the potential for any kind of volume/curl/wave, you have to go here....
