ZERO: The cake itself tasted average, however there wasn't much of it because the butter cream was 1 1/2" thick on the outside, top, and between the layers. We arranged for the cake to be delivered and set up between 2:30-3:30 on the date of the wedding. She showed up between 10-11(the wedding was @ 4pm), refused to set it up, she was way too early according to our agreement. The CAKE DESIGN and COLORS were NOT EVEN CLOSE to the design and colors that were provided to the owner/cake designer. My daughter-in-law had a vision, she is too nice to say anything, and this shop ruined her one and only wedding day. My daughter-in-l aw was crushed and can never get this dream back. I tried to talk to the shop owner/designer to advise her of my concerns. The shop owner was defensive, rude, screaming, and very unprofessional. I did NOT ask for money back. I did NOT ask for anything except an adult conversation ... I was NOT able to achieve this. We will never trust CUPCAKES by LU for ANYTHING in the future, not even a kids birthday party. I would advise everyone be careful with any important event. The owner does NOT provide a CONTRACT nor a receipt so she can CHANGE the RULES/AGREEMENTS to HER OWN BENEFIT!!! I WISH I COULD SHOW YOU PICTURES!!! Disgraceful!!! THIS CAKE and 3 dozen CUPCAKES was NOT WORTH $675. My daughter-in-law's day was RUINED!!! We will forever be reminded of this COMPLETE MISS in the ALL the PICTURES.

You may want to take some college courses, ... to learn proper etiquette, spelling and grammar, and then maybe a business class, and a culinary arts course. Stopped in yesterday to check out this lovely bakery. I met Lu who is absolutely delightful. Being a ex-bakery owner myself we had a lot to chat about and she gave my a mini-tour of the all the displays. Lu's little shop is such a calming neat place. I bought several cupcakes and my very favorite was the carrot cupcake. It tasted like my Grandma's carrot cake and texture-wise was perfect. The bunny sugar cookie I bought was neatly packaged and was so well decorated. Delicious too, loved it. She also has a stand display with candles and plates, etc., just in case you forgot those things and don't have time to stop in at Wal-Mart before the party. Great idea Lu, I wish I had thought of that when I had my little shop. She also has boxed examples of beautifully decorated sugar cookies. A box of cookies for school parties or any occasion will be a favorite among everybody there. ...
