ADAM at Sprouts Farmers Market/Tulsa on Harvard is simply THE BEST - just like the company he works for. I've been lucky enough to get at least 4-star service from all four Sprouts in the Tulsa, OK area - but Adam at the Tulsa/Harvard store is SIMPLY THE BEST! Adam's excellent, professional demeanor and outstanding customer service when helping me with a special bulk order of two items only carried at Sprouts was so fantastic: not only did he make my order process extremely easy but his kindness and compassion for his customers is unrivaled.
I had asked about ordering these two items in bulk at two of the three other Sprouts stores in the greater Tulsa area and those other stores, while polite, did not ever make an effort to bring me a manager or offer a way to order in bulk; I only got the name of a manager at those two stores after calling them and also going to them and asking for the name of someone who could help me.
Not one person on the floor or at the cashier's checkout volunteered to help me by paging a manager to assist.
After a few weeks of running around to all four Sprouts stores to buy up the stock on the floor - roughly 3 hours round trip including shopping time - I asked a gentleman on the floor at the Tulsa/Harvard store to please check for more stock of my items in the back; unfortunately I did not get his name because he was outstanding too and rather than just returning to me and saying "nope - no stock in the back" like all the other stores had done, this gentleman returned with his manager, Adam, who came out to explain that they had no more in stock and then took my order for the items I wanted in bulk right there and said they'd be in stock in two days.
Today was the delivery date for my special order bulk items and I am fighting an illness that is just murdering my ability to do much of anything on time and Adam just informed me by phone that my order is ready and waiting and he had no problem with me bumping the delivery date until tomorrow when I am guaranteed to feel better and to have the energy to do the two hour round-trip drive to pick up my order.
Adam has definitely spoiled me from dealing with any other Sprouts stores simply by what I believe is his everyday excellence and pride in his position at Sprouts - and I also believe that Adam is the reason that the employees at the Harvard store are more helpful than the other locations: because Adam is setting the example of what true excellent customer service is and the employees at that store are following Adam's leadership and raising their own levels of customer support and service up to meet his. Adam is leading by example and doing an excellent job of it every day that he works.
I am posting this review on Yelp as well and also intend to contact Sprouts Corporate to let them know what a rockstar Adam is - 5 star service all the way around.
THANK YOU ADAM!
Sincerely, Jade...
Read moreI usually like shopping at Sprouts; however, today I had a horrible experience. I am in the process of training my pit bull to be my service dog, he aids with my mobility since my balance is shaky due to having Multiple Sclerosis. I had several employees question if he was a service dog & what service he provides for me. I have no problem with this however once asked and answered that should have been the end of it, unfortunately it was not. The next employee who approached us I assume was the manager again asked if he was a service dog and then asked if I have certification of him being a service dog. My son explained that he is currently in training so no he has no certification, the employee stated that without proof he cannot be in the store with me, I replied then that we would head to the checkout & then leave, as we were walking away another customer asked if she could pet him I said yes. She commented that the best dog she ever had was a pit bull, the manager who asked me to leave then commented that some customers tend to be fearful of dogs that resemble pits to which I replied that wasn't the fault of my dog. Oklahoma law allows for public access for service dogs anywhere the public is allowed. A business owner can ask if it is a service dog and what service they provide however that is all they can ask. I'm not required to provide certification or have him marked as a service dog. They can ask me to remove my dog if he is misbehaving this was not the case. I was asked to remove my dog because of his breed, this is discrimination not just against him but also against me. My disability requires a large breed dog that if necessary can hold my weight for short periods due to balance issues. A pit is the perfect dog for this task as they don't scare easily if I fall and sturdy enough to help bear my weight while I stand back up. I cannot help the fact that some people have an irrational fear of a particular breed of dog, nor should myself or my service dog be discriminated against based on that fear. He should only be judged based on his behavior not a false perception...
Read moreI have never been to one of these stores until today. I was across the street getting my car worked on and had an extended wait time. I walked across the street to see the store and what they had to offer. I was in the store for about 3 minutes just wandering up and each isle to see what they had. A woman who works there asked if she could help me find something. I told her I was just looking to see what the store had since I hadn't been in one before. She said let me know if I can help. I walked another few rows and another lady greeted me while she was doing inventory. Just said hello was I finding everything I needed? I continued on. A third woman greeted me in the produce area I asked if they had a diabetic area. She said not especially for diabetics but they had sugar free items. I went to the deli and ordered a sandwich. I watched two people making sushi, very interesting. A Lady stopped and asked if I needed anything while I was waiting for the sandwich. Sandwich , chips and to the checkout. One person in line in front of me, a cashier and a bagger. Very friendly and nice. I was a bit more work for them because I am tax exempt and they had to do additional paperwork. They were very nice not grumpy. Thankfully I wasn't holding up the line. They gave me a new tax exempt card for their store so I won't have to go through the rest next time. I went back to the auto repair and began to eat my sandwich. It was huge! Excellent sandwich. Fresh ingredients and soft bread. I'm really impressed with the store, staff, food, and cleanliness of it. I...
