0 stars for horrible service! I am the last person to post a negative review(this is actually the first negative review of my life) about a local business. However after my experience today I must share with others to protect your devices and your reputation from this type of poor service. My wife’s IPhone 11 was fine besides a battery capacity of 83% and now 24 hours after paying for a $55 battery replacement service the phone barely works!!! 😡
First of all the man who worked on my wife’s IPhone 11 (the one with long hair) told us we were good for 3 months after the repair as long as we didn’t damage the phone. He explained how he replaces the battery and then calibrates it so the phone works properly. He said all this prior to the work but as soon as he was done I asked the person ringing us up (the younger guy with a low hair cut) about the warranty and the 3 months. I noticed that he looked confused and he then told me it was only a 2 week warranty. That was the first strike. I felt played after they told me two different things. Don’t tell me 3 months so I can agree to the repair then let the cashier tell me it’s only 2 weeks after the repair is done.. That’s false advertising because I would have declined the battery repair had I known it was only a 2 week warranty. If this wasn’t bad enough a couple of hours later we get home and my wife notices the screen starts going out. By now they are closed so we have to wait until the next day which is today August 26, 2024. Before we make it back to the store the phone starts to cut off and come back on all by it’s self and the screen is going out.
We make it back to the store and show it to them and they go back behind the wall where they do repairs and they start whispering. Then they bring the phone out to show us some sticky stuff that is on the battery. The men proceed to accuse my wife of wasting coffee or something sticky on her phone and they say that is why her phone went out. They chose the wrong lie for us because we don’t have soda, coffee or anything that matches what they said in our house. My wife never wasted anything on her phone and they blatantly lied. Even if she had wasted something on her phone there is no way the phone could have dried completely by the time we got back to the store. I have gotten multiple phones wet and it takes days to dry. I am completely disgusted with how they handled this. I would never spend a penny here after this. Lying on me is one thing but lying on my wife is too far!👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿 5 thumbs down for horrible service. I really hope they learn their lesson because this is the first time I have ever experienced this This type of poor business practices makes our community look horrible. I have supported this business for over 15 years just so my wife’s phone could be destroyed and my family lied on! 🤢🤮 that young man needs to learn a thing or two about customer service because hurting good people is bad for business. I have an iPhone 13 he charge me for an iPhone 14 digitizer replacement the one installed was not authentic genuine. iPhone parts. I know this for a fact because at check out when I unlocked my phone it popped up on the screen and I was like yo he’s like oh don’t worry about that just click OK. It was a fake temu digitizer he sold me a knock off OtterBox and a screen protector, which also Must’ve came from temu I picked my phone up off the charger today quarter of the screen is glitching/blackout I go up to the store to see about having the warranty fixed. He says I’ve dropped the phone which who doesn’t drop their phone they should be able to get dropped and take a lick. Read moreBad experience. Make sure you detail every little issue wrong, down to hairline scratches, if you are getting repairs. The workers aren’t thorough and will blame you for their incompetence! Took a phone to get the camera repaired to working condition. Was told they had original parts, but part looks cheaper than if you bought it at dollar tree. Camera is NOT properly repaired. They didn’t offer a discount or to make it right and still made me pay. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
EDITING TO ADD: appreciate your response but if you want to be transparent for future customers, NO ONE had previously worked on the phone. You are the ONLY ones that have touched it. I had brought my OWN part that I had ordered in case you all did not have a part for it. I told you if you had “original” parts that I’d use what you all had and took the parts I had ordered with me.
