I have been a consistent customer of image makers, and have been getting my eyelashes done from them for over a year now. They have always done amazing, but the last time I went to get my eyelashes done, I had an appointment for a fill in, and there was a new eyelash lady (I’m assuming she is new) and she took 3 hours to do a fill in on my eyelashes. No one has ever taken 3 hours to do my eyelashes before even for a full set it always takes at most 2 hours. The last at least 30 to 45 minutes of my appointment, I can literally feel her just brushing through my eyelashes, and I start to get irritated wondering why I’m still laying there if she’s done, my back hurts, and I have things to do, but I just let her do her thing. Once I get up to finally pay she tells me that she will be charging me for a full set instead of a fill in. She never told me that she would be up charging me for a full set until AFTER she was done doing my eyelashes. This is a huge issue to me and extremely infuriating. I had to spend the last of my money on these eyelashes, and I feel completely scammed. She was just brushing through my eyelashes for an extra 30 to 45 minutes im guessing so that she would be able to charge me for a full set by saying I took 3 hours of her time. It’s fine if it takes her 2 to 3 hours for a fill in if she is new I understand that. But I shouldn’t be charged for her time when she is the one still learning and for her to not tell me she would be charging me WAY more than I anticipated until AFTER my eyelashes are done is outrageous and after all of my great experiences with my old lash tech at image makers, I will never be going back there because of this. Let me just add this made me cry for a week straight because I had no money left after this. I should’ve spoke up when she charged me, but I would have burst into tears. I cried as soon as I opened the door to walk out....
Read moreHorrible!!! I arrive right on time for my 2pm appointment I made at 8am this morning. I am on my lunch break and I told them I was to be using my pre approved time from work for this appointment. It is for a manicure. I sit in the waiting area 20 minutes and no one collects me for my service then finally when I arrive to the front desk to cancel the manicurist abruptly addresses me without even introducing herself as though I was in the wrong somehow never apologizing instead insisting she had no knowledge of the appointment and couldn’t accommodate me at any other time today because of her prescheduled standing appointments. She doesn’t make a call, offer to stay late, offers nothing to make it right in any way. Not a single suggestion or offer or accommodation. I am new to the area, just moving from Memphis and was so hopeful walking in this would be a positive experience and place I could return for other services in the future. I am beyond...
Read moreI went to get a pixie cut, and I called before to make sure that the artist was capable of doing it, as many hairstylists in the area can’t do it. I have had a pixie cut around 4 times before, so I am accustomed to the hairstyle. Mandy basically shaved my head. I have never had such a bad haircut where i contemplated giving myself a buzz cut afterwords. Granted, it was the correct style, but it was about four inches too short, and four inches matters a LOT on short hair. On top of that, I paid an outrageous price of $50 just to hold back tears while in the chair. I attached my reference photo and my actual haircut. I will certainly never be...
