This coffee shop is AMAZING! It embodies all the things that I love about a good coffee shop! It has a good vibe when you enter...warm, inviting and cozy. The seating is perfect...high top tables, booth seating (some a bit hidden and cozy), cushioned arm chairs, and even outdoor seating. The food is insanely delicious. A few favorites: Bacon Tater, Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit with gravy (SO GOOD!), Avocado Toast (don’t overlook this one. It’s really good!), Grilled Cheese and Soup (the cheese! Yum!), and Fruity Pebbles and Cream Waffle (I dream about this one!!!). Oh….a hidden jewel...THE SCONES! Blueberry is my favorite!! These are located near the register and are often overlooked!! And finally...the coffee! I can see why this roastery has won awards. The coffee is sooo good. All of the Signature Lattes are AWESOME, but as I love coconut, my personal favorite is Coco Loco. If you want to try a special treat, ask for a Pour Over. Make sure to sit at the bar and watch the barista do ths one. They hand brew your coffee in front of you. It is really cool...and you get to try a scone! I, also, like their bagged coffee. My personal favorites are: Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, San Lazaro Estates Honduran and Girasoles Costa Rican. You can’t go wrong with this coffee shop. As they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is easy to come...
Read moreJust had the worst experience here. I expected a crowd on a Sunday, but the staff clearly was not prepared for patrons who looked forward to good food and service.
When asked if someone could wipe down a table for my daughter and I to sit, the lady was so rude. I advised her that I would have done so myself, but there were no napkins at the table and nor were there any on the countertops for use. Patrons were literally having to remove other peoples dirty dishes/trash and wipe tables themselves. Not to mention, the place was unclean. Trash on the floors, there was no one to maintain the dining area while patrons dined in during the morning rush.
We spent $32 on a 1/2 chocolate chip waffle, 1 whole chocolate chip waffle, 2 orders of bacon, 1 chocolate milk, and 1 small latte. The wait was well over 40 minutes for our food... we were told that the kitchen had run out of chocolate chips and to make matters worse, our meals were ice cold! Who wants to bite into a hard and cold waffle?!
I chose to dine here patiently but with expectations that my wait would be worth it, however, I am instead left being very disappointed for...
Read moreOver all this lovely quaint and special coffee house gets 5 stars, of course! The food is great every time. Well, my daughter and I always share the Strawberry Nutella Waffles and we each get a hot drink and it’s the perfect little treat and we never feel poor after eating & drinking our afternoon delights at this place. Drinks get 5 stars. Service is always terrific with very friendly cashier / baristas and very quick service. There is always a small crowd during the time of day that we go (afternoons), but never a line and it’s always very quiet and so simply relaxing like a library with nice and relaxing background music that doesn’t make you have a literal panic attack like so many shops, restaurants etc these days. I sit in the restaurant now and feel so relaxed and at ease and am happy that we get to enjoy a window booth this time! The atmosphere, decor & overall interior design is really nice and just not “loud” or “too much” in any way… everything is just right. The only thing that stands out is the humming of the occasional frother which is a welcome and expected noise in a great little coffee shop!! Love you...
