I was hesitant about jumping into dry food, but was left with no other choice due to wet food having a negative effect on my dog’s teeth. I became aware of the Pet Wants brand coming here to Twin Falls, Idaho and, honestly, I couldn’t be more pleased. My dog, Scooter, took right to the dry food from Pet Wants when he has historically caught pretty hard to wait me out when trying to switch from wet to dry food. The only negative aspect of this brand is not having that sense of familiarity that you get walking into a large pet food store. However, Mike and Valerie are incredible. They honestly care about your pet and understand that our pets are part of our families. They will gladly invite you into their home so you can see the different products and provide you with a wealth of knowledge regarding your pet’s dietary needs. I would highly recommend reaching out to them and trying a free sample. Their food is fresh and completely free of any of those by-products or fillers that you find in the big chain brands. A free sample and some valuable knowledge never hurt. Again, I couldn’t be happier...
Read moreI was in a rush to get back to boise to evict a tenant. Ran an errand out to your beautiful city today. Busy day.
My pup has been traveling for hours and has hours to go. As we all do sometimes, I forgot her leash - but she is very well trained and I ran her in for a little treat before heading back on the road to Boise.
Now, I'm very old-Idaho from up in Kooskie - the middle for those who dont know.
This lady (owner on floor?) mouths to the other lady ( owner behind counter?) in their empty shop... "oh my gosh" as I am walking out.
I guess that is because they are the small town gossip team?
Well, I am going to stay away becauseI dont deal with petty people.
And sadly, my dog didn't want t9 eat the free treat I grabbed and put all my change into their animal fund as a thank you.
And so as I left I got ridiculed behind my back.
But hey, not my first rodeo with the mouth waggers of petty idaho... so I gifted them with my Face in the store and an earful of not me, you don't get that option.
So. Curious why they are that way. But hey - play poor act...
Read moreI shop for both my cat and dog and they enjoy the food and treats. My dog has dietary restrictions and we previously used Farmers Dog. I like that there is a local place for me to shop for food that fits his restrictions without having to place bulk orders and store a months worth of food in my freezer. They have many great options that are grain-free and limited ingredient.
All the employees are always so friendly and helpful and always ask how my pets like the food.
I recently picked-up an order and didn't notice until a few days in I was short two cans of food. I went in and explained the situation and they resolved the issue without hesitation. I truly appreciate all the great customer service Pet Wants...
