I have a problem with this banking system, terminated my dealings with its limitations. Could not phantom their communications system. Overall; most banking systems: Except the Navy Federal Credit Union which I bank with. Ive encounted a major problem with my landlord because of this bank. Based on paperwork given him in reference to a check i gave him around the 2nd -3rd which he submitted on the 13th of August. Upon receipt of said copies. I contacted my bank NFCU: Yet was informed that my check had not been submitted for payment as of this past Saturday! So $160. Check was now accessed with fees totaling $219.00. So im questioning the banking practices of Atlantic Credit Union. When i come to their office later this morning I shall get to the bottom of this aggrievous mismanagement of a simple banking transaction. Whereby; the landlord was charged inappropiate fees, which he tried to pass off on to me. When I went off, on him after contacting my bank learning that my check had never been deposited by ACU for payment. Im 73 years old, and currently extremely ill. I pay my bills in timely efforts using bill pay. Im unable to withdraw cash from NFCU because the closes bank that im aware of is at the Navy Base in a town where i once lived. I dont drive anymore. Stage 5 kidney failure, heart problems due to the contrast dye used in the procedure of placing a stent in my heart. So unnecessary nonsence is extremely unhealthy for me. I have signed up several family members to the union and I have enjoyed many different products the union offers. I was glad when they finally gave up POP Money and got Zelle. But it took years. Now they changed their security program, and it is pure trash. The app makes you change your password like you're some kind of child. It doesn't allow free flow for outside US members which has become a great bane for my elderly father who needs to make constant long-distance calls to get unlocked because he made too many attempts to get in. Poor man is frustrated because the app makes him feel old when he knows damn well how to successfully bank online. The union doesn't afford any space for international addresses or phone numbers. They say its for security but other financial institutions don't inconvenience their customers nearly as bad as this. I have complained so many times and nothing has been done about it. it'll probably take years before they come around to fixing the problem. Iāve had two situations with making payments on my credit card through the new app where both times it didnāt process and I was hit with a late fee. When I spoke to someone at the credit union she tells me the way Iām making the payment is not the right way thatās why itās not processing. Why is this feature here if itās not working and how am I supposed to know that. This new app is horrible. And the one time my credit card payment didnāt process before I could correct it and make a payment they took it upon themselves to take money from my checking account and paid my credit card without saying anything to me. When I asked someone how do I get the late fee removed she said I would have to speak to someone in collections. And what do you know you canāt get through to them smh.
