Loved it! Didnt even know it was there! Always went all the way to Berganline to eat Chilean food. It's different than the other one. Berganline is more of a bakery/eatery. This one is Roselle park is more of a small restaurant. They had pastel de choclo and 4 kinds of empanadas! Completos, pescado frito, churrasco and more! And pastries galore!!!! Everything with manjar!!! Also some Chilean flags, hats and aprons for sale. It was nice because you could tell the food was made within minutes of us ordering it and they had already prepared food in the deli fridge to take home to go. The restaurant had 4 employees and young cashier/waiter spoke both perfect English and Chilean and was extremely helpful and nice. I really enjoyed my time. I got cafe con leche and bilz y pap! Everything was great. Plenty of parking and seating. I had empanada frito and didnt even know what was in it. I found out it's just an empanada de queso BUT it deep fried and it's not in the hoja sheet empanada like the regular cheese empanada is. It was delicious. X10 better than regular empanada de queso. Great. Now I'm hungry. They also had some things I never heard of. Some sun dried peach juice that apparently is native to Chile. Didnt try it and never have but my aunts bought a few. Go. Try it out. I'm...
Read moreConsider yourself lucky to have stumbled upon this unique Chilean bakery – and here's why. This hidden gem in Roselle Park is a true celebration of authentic Chilean desserts. Stepping inside feels less like entering a business and more like walking into a beloved family home in Chile. As a Chilean myself, I felt an immense sense of pride just being there.
The desserts are beyond words; they're perfection and instantly transport me back to cherished family moments. The manjar (dulce de leche) is crafted exactly how I remember my own family making it, and there are so many delicious options featuring it. The "Brasso De Reina", a cake generously filled with manjar, is an especially excellent choice.
I'm incredibly fortunate to have found this spot and highly recommend it. Though I'm not from the immediate area, I'll make it a point to stop by whenever I'm close, eager to buy a little piece of memory in...
Read moreOur first time there today. Food was excellent, freshly made & flavorful. Their bread is to die for & the empanadas are delicious. The owners are very friendly & kind & it seems to be a place where customers are all regulars. Pastries are truly much better than the ones from Los Andes (the popular Chilean bakery in northern NJ). The only minus I see it's that their menu is very limited for dining in, however, I can see they rather prepare only a couple of dishes a day but very well made (I prefer that to a large menu restaurants with all mediocre meals in it anyways). We will be coming back very soon & hopefully will become regulars as well, would recommend to anyone wanting to find a homey little cafe that serves quality food at very reasonable prices, great for...
