My husband & I were looking for some sea food early Father’s Day. This is a one man show let’s start there. This young man was the chef & su chef cashier bagger take in person & online & phone call orders.

This young man DESERVES A RAISE !!! I can’t express that enough. The heat is unbearable just waiting for food alone was a hot sauna & frying is even hotter oil creates more heat & anyone that cooks knows that.

With that being said this guy has no air just a door off to the side & it’s to no relief clearly. If this young man is working most likely to help his mother (family ). He probably had no choice but to wrk. He could have been with friends going to the the beach or pool doing what kids do. I say a kid early because he looks early 20’s. Could be my son.

If the owner knows of this he should make it better environment.

I have driven pass a few of these chain take out spots until I finally stoped in this one.

The food is really good the service is great as the young man doing his best & as fast as he could to cook take walk in’s , orders, phone orders & online as I Stated before. Knowing that you have a few of this small spots to eat means you are making money because this spot here was jumping in & out ordering picking up order or placing it was non stop. As a boss I would have my employee in a better working conditions to wrk in like for hours. Day time is the hottest as well. The owner can get some air conditioning even if it’s a floor model some fans as well. It was a miracle no one passed out from the heat outside & inside. I didn’t get the young man name but he’s the only one working this spot all alone. Tip him if you go because he deserves it ! Very polite & respectful & you can see he’s a hard worker ! Very good fried seafood spot. I’ve never actually been to this spot in person but i have and continue to order for delivery from here.

I have had the Lobster Bisque which is quite flavorful. The broth does a great job of walking the fine line between creamy and watery. Its portioned a but big which is fine if you want to save some for later. But as an appetizer i would not recommend unless you want to spoil your appetite before the main entree. Only negative i will point out is the minimal amount of lobster pieces in the soup. I understand Lobster is expensive but i’d at least enjoy half a tails worth for what was billed as a 9 dollar soup.

The fish and chips i ordered were good. Not the greatest but very satisfactory. The fish was seasoned well and had nice hints of herbal seasonings. The chips were very flavorful, and fluffy on the inside. My only complaint about this entree was the lack of crunch in the food. Its very possible that because i ordered delivery it lost its crunch in transportation. So i will not knock it until i actually visit this place in person.

On another occasion I ordered the crabwich. Which was a soft shell crab served on a buttered roll. Very delicious, had a nice crunch, and was seasoned very well. Not too greasy or oily as most places tend to serve fried food.

Otherwise, a very nice spot that specializes in fried seafood. Which is a breath of fresh air from the seafood boils and sautéed seafood that most restaurants...

I had my first experience at the Chippery on October 31st (Halloween). I ordered a few things with my fiancé: two entrees and two starters. We live right around the corner from this place and had been meaning to try it out. The guy working that day was nice and friendly. He even brought the food out to our car when it was ready. Upon getting home I realized he didn't pack the two starters: calamari and the lobster bisque. I called them to let them know and the guy had realized and said we could come get it. I opted for a refund since I didn't feel like going back out. He said the owner would take care of it the next day. Well that never happened so I called a week later to ask about it. Of course the owner wasn't in again and that continued to be true the next time as well. I was constantly was promised a refund and never received it. It's almost a month later and I just decided to go through my credit card company who reimbursed me immediately for the missing items.
