I have been going to see Carolyn at The Jewel Box for approx. 8 years now. Most of my jewelry has been sold to me by Carolyn and she has been such a good friend over the years. When I visit the shop near SMU, I am always stunned by all the gorgeous jewelry - both estate and new. I so enjoy going for a visit because it is fun to put a nice piece in lay-a-way (interest free). This is really the only way I have most all of my expensive jewelry. Over the years, Carolyn has helped me pick out a wedding ring, which was not so easy as there is so much to choose from. I will continue to be a customer of The Jewel Box as long as my buddy Carolyn is still there to help me decide....

I was really excited to find an estate jewelry place close to me in Dallas with what seemed like good quality stuff. Two weeks after buying a ring a stone fell out, so I took it back and they fixed it after the sassy women there gave me grief about what it would cost. Another three weeks after that two stones fell out, so I sent it to a more reputable shop where they had to completely rebuild what they had broken with the original fix. They have the best prices and highest quality of gems. Purchased rings and bracelets and earrings from them over the years. I have sent so many people to them as their stuff is unbeatable. They can resize anything as well. Because they buy from estates, it can be hit or miss but that’s the beauty of their store to keep coming back from time to time to see their new finds.
