After reading numerous reviews for Mediterranean restaurants in Dallas Texas we settled on this one and WOW ... I am so glad we did!
This is a very small restaurant that is has a simple decor but is kept very clean and has a cozy atmosphere. The owner Kasem came over and introduced himself to us and continued to check in with us throughout the evening. He discussed the ingredients and preparation of everything we ordered and appeared to care a great deal about serving fresh and delicious food -- and that we enjoyed it too!
Every single thing we had was delicious: maza tray (baba ghannooj, kubbi, falafel, tabouli, hommos, grape leaves), falafel sandwich, gyro sandwich, beef shwarma sandwich, fettoush salad, sambosa (spinach with sumac yummmm!), burma, baklawa (pistachios) and maamaul (we all agreed the burma was surprisingly delicious and the agreed upon favourite).
This restaurant has been open for 24 years and I can see why.
I highly recommend stopping by this place for a delicious meal ... I am sure glad we did!

Read moreWe ordered the beef shawarma and it tasted good. The place needs more vibe, it feels "sad" you can hear the freezer more than the music. The gentleman with the cap which I think it was the owner was friendly but the other lady not really. She gave us a cup that had a whole and we ended up getting wet and she did not offered any help even though she was aware of the situation and we were the only ones in the restaurant. They need to really improve their customer service and atmosphere ... also they only give you disposable cups which make it feel like a...
Read moreBest Lebanese food not just in Dallas but probably anywhere—a huge asset for the neighborhood that I hope never changes. I certainly hope they don’t listen to some of the reviews calling the space “run down”—the whole point is this is a top quality neighborhood restaurant with class and authenticity, not a slick PE-backed popup chain. It was the favorite lunch spot of Stanley Marcus (cofounder of Neiman Marcus), whose taste assuredly exceeded that of anyone who would complain about having to walk through the kitchen to reach...
