Lauren's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Upper Dublin Township

I was in Lauren's Hallmark last Saturday July 1 3023 looking for a special gift for my dear friend' s Birthday. While I was unable to find a gift, I did purchase a cute little ceramic unicorn Christmas ornament that was on clearance. I asked the relatively rude sales associate to please place it in a small box, however she refused stating that she was not permitted to provide a box or Hallmark seal for clearance items. This was my first time in this location, which was the 2nd Hallmark store that I had visited that day and went to 2 other Hallmark stores in the area after leaving Lauren's Hallmark. I purchased several items, including some clerance items from each store. Not one other Hallmark establishment refused me a box and seals. EVERY item from EVERY store was nicely and carefully packaged by the various sales associates from each store despite being on clearance. Professionalism, courtesy and great customer service is a discerning standard that is indicative of the Hallmark establishments that customers appreciate about the Hallmark brand. I including a picture below of the unicorn ornament with the horn piercing though the plastic bubble wrap... Totally unacceptable !! Perhaps your policy is as tge rude older lady stated.. Rest assure I will contact management for a formal complaint, however will likely not patronize your establishment...

Rude old lady who worked there yelled at me and my son as we went in to buy a card because they were getting ready to close. Told her we were just there for a card and she continued to make a stink about how they were closing soon. When I told her maybe they should consider updating the hours on the door that say they were open for another two hours she continued to yell at us until I told her I was not there to argue, just there to buy a card. Two other customers even commented that you think they'd be happy for the business instead of being rude to the few customers they have. My son asked if we should just leave. Will not be going back...

Good place, well stocked and organized even during the hectic Christmas season. Found some unique ornaments and collectables I haven't seen...
