Norman's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Uwchlan Township

In Normans Hallmark in the Exton Pennsylvania mall. Me and my friend were looking at squish mallows and decided not to buy Anything. On our way out a short, Asian, grey haired woman (who I think was the manager) asked “if we found any squish mallows we liked” my friend replied “no” we than walked out of the story and when I looked back she had started following us. I kept looking back until we got to Spencers were than she was still following us but stoped at the intersection. Me and my friend are young teens and we’re scared when a lady started following us so we hid in Spencer’s. The other employ from Hallmark who was a 5’5” or 5’4”, man, with no facial hair, and glasses followed us into Spencer’s and told the lady at the cashier that we were suspicious of shop lifting. I had shorts and a tee shirt on with two pocket with only a phone and a wallet in them. And my friend had a skirt and a short sleeve shirt on. My friend had a jacket but it was in her hand. We had no room for anything.We than walked back into Hallmark to ask her what was up and she said that she was doing her job. Her job is not to watch and send employees after young teen girls. That scared me. She than said she was going to call security wich she did. And the police(wich she did not). We talked with security and they agreed that what the employees did were against store policy and down right creepy and terrifying. I sincerely hope this happens to nobody else. -a...

Absolutely horrible, insulting and prejudiced staff. My 8th grader and two of her friends were shopping for early Xmas presents at this store and were kicked out of the store despite NO signage posted that there was any age limit whatsoever to shop without an adult to supervise. When they called me to ask me to come so that they could continue to shop, I entered with them and although there were several other customers walking around with bags from other retailers, the angry, rude woman, presumably the manager, or wannabe person of any importance whatsoever, chased down one of the girls to take her Target bag away from her since the only non-Caucasian in the store couldn't possibly be trusted(with an adult) to not steal any of the plastic over-priced junk that the kids were excited to look at. Don't go here. Go anywhere else. There is a good reason that these stores are closing all over... 100% poor staffing, and...

I am sincerely disappointed with the way the employees of hallmark treated my friend and I when we went. They followed us around not only in the story, but outside of it as well. They continued to follow us until me and my friend confronted them where they then called security, and threatened the police. Security obviously did not agree with the actions of the employees.
