I bought a whole bolt of fabric there to recover my Mother's sofa on a Wednesday afternoon my Mother died on Sunday I tried to return the bolt of fabric for a refund or in store credit I was told they would would not do either I explained what happened and that we had been good customers there for 15 years but they would not work with me at all I have not been back and have no plans of ever shopping there again I support our local businesses here in Valdese but this business I will not. I love this place!! I used to cry when my grandma would say we were going to Robey's because I knew it would take her forever to do her shopping. Now that I'm grown I can see WHY!!! They have any and every kind of fabric you could ever need. And if they don't?????? No worries!! They can quickly get it for you. The staff is friendly and helpful. WOW! Fabric heaven!! Driving by I would never have stopped but my sister recommend it and she was spot on. A very unassuming building on a lonely two lane road has multiple rooms absolutely packed with fabric. And we never have enough fabric! Quilters you definitely need to visit this store!
